Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Pateman Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: June 1 (fall semester and academic year); November 1 (spring semester)

Applicant must be pursuing a career in aeronautics or aerospace engineering. Applicant must have demonstrated financial need.

 

GBAA Aviation Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Georgia high school graduate (or have a GED equivalent from an accredited Georgia school or Home School Program) who is enrolled as a full-time student or has been accepted as a full-time student into an accredited/FAA-approved college program pursuing an aviation-related certificate or undergraduate or graduate degree in the fields of flight technology, aviation maintenance technology, aviation operations, aviation management, or aeronautical engineering (applicants in other aviation disciplines will be considered). Completed application, 500-1,000 word essay, and one letter of recommendation from a school official or other advisor/mentor are required to be submitted. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required (both high school and college, if applicable).

 

Ellison Onizuka Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior planning to major in aerospace engineering or related fields.

 

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Portland Post Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

EAA Chapter 1354 Aviation Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will pursue a full-time associate or baccalaureate course of study at Purdue University - School of Aviation, Vincennes University, Indiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or University of Illinois and planning a career as a commercial pilot, transport pilot, airport administration or aeronautical engineering.

 

Lady Mamie Ngan Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree. Preference will be given to members of AAS or SEDS-USA (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space). Applicants must submit an essay describing how they hope ISU will affect their future in the space community. This scholarship is to help pay for students to attend the International Space University's Space Studies Program or the Master in Space Studies Program.

 

Hansen Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering and must be involved in school and community activities as well as aviation. Applicants must be in good academic standing. Financial need will be considered. Applicants must also be EAA members or be recommended by an EAA member.

 

David Alan Quick Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 28

Applicants must be in their junior or senior year at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in aerospace or aeronautical engineering. Applicants must be involved in school and community activities as well as aviation and be EAA members or be recommended by an EAA member.

 

AGCO Corporation FFA Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must have one of the following undergraduate majors: agronomy, crop science, general agriculture, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, sales and marketing, engineering, mechanization, agriculture power and equipment or welding. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board. Students must show financial need and evidence of community service participation.

 

Amelia Earhart Fellowships

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicants must be pursuing graduate PhD/doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering.

 

Parsons Brinckerhoff Engineering Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 10

Applicants must be enrolling as undergraduate students who have been COMTO members for at least one year. They must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

 

LTK Engineering Services Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: March 10

Applicants must either be current COMTO members or be willing to join within 30 days of receiving the scholarship. Students must be at least in their junior year of college or in graduate school, and they must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be enrolled in at least twelve credits per semester. Students must submit a short essay and two letters of recommendation.

 

Honeywell International Inc. Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be female U.S. citizens. They must be rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors or seniors and must plan to major in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or materials science and engineering. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Northrop Grumman Corporation Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be undergraduate freshmen, sophomores or juniors. They must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in computer science, chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering. They must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
