NPFDA Scholarship Foundation Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be a full-time student (junior or senior status during award year) attending an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing an agriculture, agribusiness, animal, poultry or food-science or related degree.

 

Reid-Baskin Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Newberry or York counties, S.C. and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

 

Don Riebhoff Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an active technician class or higher who is studying international studies at an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

International Business Scholarship

Pacific and Asian Affairs Council Internship

M.S. International Business Merit Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 undergraduate GPA and demonstrate financial hardship. International applicant must have a minimum 575 TOEFL score.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Gronlund Award in Languages

Applicant must be a full-time student, intending to major in Foreign Languages, Secondary Education, or International Business.

 

HSF/HSBC-North America Scholarship Program

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage and enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must be a current undergraduate sophomore or a current community college student who is planning on transferring to a four-year college or university; thus having junior status in the upcoming academic school year. Resume and FAFSA are required. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

 

Henry A Zuberano Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be an undergraduate student with a major in international business, international relations, political science or public administration.

 

Naomi L. Satterfield Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a member of Phi Chi Theta.

 

Ed Tsutakawa Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a full-time student showing clear evidence of academic focus in global relations or commerce. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Jim Snead Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a resident of Alaska who is pursuing post-secondary education with a focus on international business, transportation, or a related industry.

 

WIIT Charitable Trust Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 15; July 15

Applicant must be a female undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university/college in the U.S. with a demonstrated interest in international development, international relations, international trade, international economics, or international business. Three to five page essay required on this topic: "Discuss the economic and political ramifications of negotiating a free trade agreement between the United States and the European Union."

 

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Fund

Award: $7,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be women of any age pursuing a business or business-related program who demonstrate outstanding potential. Applicants must also have an outstanding academic record in their college career, and they must show intent to complete a business program.

 

Malcolm Baldrige Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 15

Applicants must be Connecticut students who are entering or currently attending a Connecticut college or university, and they must demonstrate exemplary academic achievement. International business students must be fluent in or be formally studying a foreign language.

 

Washington State Auto Dealers Association Scholarship Program

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a Washington State public or private high school, or are home-schooled and reside in Washington State. Students must plan to use their scholarship within the 12 months following the award by enrolling in any public or private school, vocational institution, community college or four-year college or university.
