Applicant must be a woman who is a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant enrolled for post-graduate studies in music, painting, or sculpture in Canada or abroad.

Applicant must be a student who has been an active or lifetime member of ACDA for at least three years. Applications must include a current resume, reasons for applying for financial assistance, the date applicant became a member, two letters of recommendation from major professors, a description of the graduate degree program in which the applicant is enrolled, and a current personal finance statement showing the need for ACDA's financial assistance.

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Applicant must be pursuing a degree within the Shenandoah Conservatory. Selection is based upon application for admission, audition, and needs of the conservatory. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 900 (composite ACT score of 19).

Applicant must be a classical instrumentalist, vocalist, and/or composer who is 18 years old or younger and have not yet entered college who have an interest in performing on From the Top. Exceptional musical achievement, financial need, academic achievement, and strength of character must be demonstrated.

Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and be high school seniors or college or graduate students (community college, four-year public or private college or university, certificate program, vocational/technical/trade programs, law school, medical/dental/veterinary school or graduate education). Students must be members of the LGBTQ and allied community and display leadership either within the LGBTQ community or within their field of study and demonstrate financial need. Students with additional barriers to education as well as those who are economically, racially, socially, geographically or politically disenfranchised will be given consideration as well. Scholarship is for students studying choral conducting or music with preference given to those committed to creating social change through music.
