Scholarships in Mapping

Tri State Surveying and Photogrammetry Kris M. Kunze Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a member of ACSM and submit six copies of application, proof of membership in ACSM, a brief statement describing educational objectives, future plans of study or research, professional activities, and financial need, at least three letters of recommendation, and official transcript.

 

Paul R. Wolf Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be a graduate student currently enrolled or intending to enroll in an accredited college or university pursing a program of study which includes surveying, mapping, or photogrammetry.

 

Kenneth J. Osborn Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a college or university pursuing a program of study in preparation for entering the profession of surveying, mapping, photogrammetry, or geospatial information and technology.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Intergraph Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be an ASPRS member who is a student currently pursuing graduate-level studies or is planning to enroll for graduate studies in a recognized college or university in the United States or elsewhere. Award looks to facilitate graduate-level studies and career goals adjudged to address new and innovative uses of signal processing, image processing techniques, and the application of photogrammetry to real-world techniques within the earth imaging industry.

 

Abraham Anson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled or intending to enroll in a college or university in the United States for the purpose of pursuing a program of study to enter a profession in photogrammetry, remote sensing, surveying and mapping, or geospatial science.
