Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

John D Spurling OBE Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a full-time student pursuing a program that promotes responsible pet ownership. Some examples include veterinary medicine, veterinary technology, animal care, animal behavior, and grooming and training majors. Scholastic record, community experience, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Campbell Family Scholarship

Award: $8,500, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a high school senior or college student pursuing a pet-related career. Minimum 2.75 GPA, essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

B.R.I.D.G.E. Endowment Fund FFA Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must be physically disabled or handicapped. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships.
