Minimum 3.0 GPA, essay, description of ground water project or practical environmental work experience, and two letters of recommendation are required.

Applicant must have at least one parent employed in the ground water industry, plan to pursue a career in a ground water-related field, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, and have either completed a science/environmental project which directly involved ground water resources or had an out-of-school work experience relating to the environment and natural resources. Applicant must submit essay, description of ground water project or practical environmental work experience, verification of parent's employment in the ground water industry, and two letters of recommendation.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or possess a permanent resident visa, be enrolled in an engineering or science discipline associated with decommissioning/decontamination of nuclear facilities or management/characterization of nuclear waste or restoration of the environment. Please see ANS website (www.ans.org) for list of additional criteria to be met. Applicant must be sponsored by an ANS local section, division, student branch, committee member or organization member.

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.
