Arthur A. and Florence G. Fisher Traveling Scholarship I and II (Colorado AIA)

Award: $2,200, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must have proven intent to formally study Architecture, may be architects licensed by and residing in Colorado or faculty of College of Architecture and planning at CU. Selection is based on project statement, proposed plan of procedure, expected accomplishment, itinerary with approximate date, tentative budget, and three letters of reference.

 

Robert K. Fuller Scholarship for Graduate Study (Colorado AIA)

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be entering or continuing a graduate study in architecture. Selection is based on excellence in previous academic or professional world.

 

Graduate Tuition Award - Architecture and Planning

Award: $750, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be an entering or continuing student to the College of Architecture and Planning. Selection is based on merit and financial need.

 

H & L Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate student entering last year in architecture program that may lead to a paid internship.

Preference given to applicant who has attended the undergraduate program in environmental design at CU-Boulder, and who is enrolled in the Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture and Planning.

 

Humphriespoll Architects Scholarship

Applicant must be outstanding in design as well as in academic achievement.

Applicant must be a full-time student majoring in architecture who will be entering their final year of study in the Master of Architecture degree program.

 

Ruth E. Black Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 5

Applicant must be at least a part-time student, and be a resident of Hawaii. . Selection is based upon a minimum 3.0 GPA, and financial need. Preference is given to children of those in construction related fields: architecture and engineering.

 

ASHRAE Region IV Benny Bootle Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a full-time, undergraduate, engineering or architecture student in an ABET or NAAB accredited program.

 

Carson Company Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a full-time, undergraduate or graduate architecture major, with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Ruth E. Black Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate potential for academic growth and achievement. First priority is given to the children of engineers, contractors, and construction workers. Second priority is given to students pursuing construction-related majors.

 

APA Judith McManus Price Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: May 24

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a female in one of the following minority groups: African-American, Hispanic American, or Native American. Applicant must be a student enrolled or officially accepted for enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate planning program accredited by the PAB (Planning Accreditation Board). Additionally, applicant must be a student who intends to work as a practicing planner in the public sector (which includes local, state & federal government, and not-for-profit careers). Selection is based upon commitment to planning as reflected in personal statement and resume, academic achievement and/or improvement during previous two years, letters of recommendation, financial need - both absolute need and need relative to tuition costs, professional presentation, and geographic balance of awards during that particular year. A two-to five-page personal and background statement written by applicant; a completed and signed APA Financial Aid application; two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, written verification from the school's financial officer indicating the average cost of one academic year of graduate school; a resume; a copy of acceptance letter from a PAB-accredited graduate planning school; a notarized statement of financial independence signed by applicant's parents; and applicant's signature on the application itself are all required to be submitted.

 

Andrew Mackay Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be returning as a third year full-time undergraduate student.

 

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Applicant must be a resident of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, or North Dakota. Minimum 3.4 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 25) required. Applicant must be majoring in one of the majors listed on sponsor's application page.

 

Ronald and Karel Bennett Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Jackson County high school who will be enrolling at a public or nonprofit college or university as a sophomore or above with a major in accounting, architecture, business or engineering. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Hopson-Laurent Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 10

Applicant must be a graduate of a public or private high school in Choctaw County, OK, who plans to pursue studies in architecture, art, or forestry. Applicant must have been accepted for enrollment or enrolled in a two- or four-year undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.

 

Whitley Place Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a high school in Prosper Independent School District who has applied to and plans to attend an accredited college or university. Applicant must plan to pursue studies in the area of civil engineering, construction science, construction management, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, public administration, mechanical engineering or other math/science related fields.

 

Southern Oregon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Curry, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, or Malheur County high school who will major in architecture at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Lebanon High School who will pursue a post secondary education in a building trade (structural engineering, drafting, real estate). Preference given to Beazer residents.

 

Steve Utt Scholarship

Award: $265, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Hancock County high school who will pursue a two- or four-year degree in architecture, building trades, drafting, structural engineering, or another building trade-related field at a college or university in Indiana.

 

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School who will attend a college or university in Indiana in pursuit of a two- or four-year degree in accounting, architecture, building trades, business, drafting, finance, real estate or structural engineering. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Walter Blackburn Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a resident of Marion County who will major in design and/or architecture. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.
