Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Umatilla Electric Cooperative - Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Morrow, Umatilla, or Union County who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in electrical engineering at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

LHP Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew County who is pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Paine Electronics Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County high school who plans to major in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required. Award amount is paid over four years.

 

Riverside Construction Company Harmon/Lounsbury Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a high school senior who is planning to attend a college or university as a full-time student and major in engineering (priority will be given to construction or civil engineering). Minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and community/school involvement must be demonstrated.

 

The Riverside Construction Company Harmon/Lounsbury Scholarship Fund (First-Year College Students)

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a first-year college student enrolled at California Polytechnic University - Pomona, California Polytechnic University - San Luis Obispo, California State University - Long Beach, or California Baptist University. Applicant must be majoring in engineering; priority will be given to construction or civil engineering majors. Minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and community/school involvement are required to be demonstrated.

 

Warren 'Ed' Brown Scholarship Fund

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 13

Applicant must be a Ukiah High School senior who would like to pursue a career in mathematics or engineering. Minimum 3.5 and financial need are required.

 

APWA Scholarship Fund

Award: $700, Deadline: April 16

Applicant must be a full-time junior or senior at a public university in Mississippi who is studying to enter the field of public works.

 

Robert W. Thunen Memorial Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student (junior or senior) at an accredited four-year college or university who would like to study illumination as a career; graduate applicants must be undertaking a lighting-centered project as part of work towards a graduate degree. Statement of Purpose and minimum of three letters of recommendation are required to be submitted.

William Randolph Hearst Endowment Scholarship

Applicant must be a first- or second-year student who is majoring in an engineering discipline. Minimum 2.8 GPA required.

 

Arlindo Jorge Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Preference given to applicants showing an interest in taking courses in Portuguese language, literature, and culture.

 

Marvin Anmuth Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a Jewish undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree program in electrical engineering at an accredited college, university, or graduate school. Applicant must be from the San Francisco Bay Area. Minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, demonstration of leadership in the Jewish/general community, and evidence of practicing tzedakah (justice) and tikkun olam (repairing the world - volunteerism).

 

SAME Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 18

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student who is pursuing (or intending to pursue) a degree in an engineering field or related technical sciences, including architecture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or earth sciences.

 

AACE International Scholarships

Award: $8,000, Deadline: February 7

Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management (agricultural engineering, architectural engineering, building construction, business administration, chemical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, electrical engineering, and quantity surveying). Applicant must be in their final undergraduate year and have been accepted to attend a full-time graduate program in the next academic year. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Charles LeGeyt Fortescue Scholarship

Award: $24,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be a permanent U.S. resident majoring in electrical engineering at an engineering school of recognized standing in the U.S. Transcripts and three letters of recommendation required.

 

Flosum Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be an outstanding college student enrolled in an accredited four-year institution in the U.S. studying salesforce release management or application lifecycle management with a demonstrated interest in salesforce. Minimum 3.5 GPA, cover letter, and 1,000-word essay required.

 

AGCO Corporation FFA Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must have one of the following undergraduate majors: agronomy, crop science, general agriculture, agricultural communications, education, journalism, extension, public relations, business management, economics, sales and marketing, engineering, mechanization, agriculture power and equipment or welding. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board. Students must show financial need and evidence of community service participation.

 

Parsons Brinckerhoff Engineering Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 10

Applicants must be enrolling as undergraduate students who have been COMTO members for at least one year. They must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

 

LTK Engineering Services Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: March 10

Applicants must either be current COMTO members or be willing to join within 30 days of receiving the scholarship. Students must be at least in their junior year of college or in graduate school, and they must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be enrolled in at least twelve credits per semester. Students must submit a short essay and two letters of recommendation.

 

ACEC New York Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 13

Applicants must be in their third year of study in a four-year program or their fourth year of study in a five-year program at an engineering school in New York State. They must major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, engineering technology or surveying. They must plan to make New York State their home and/or career area. Selection is based on work experience (25 percent), college activities and recommendations (15 percent), essay (30 percent) and GPA (30 percent).

 

Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers Scholarships

Award: $2,500, Deadline: October 31; May 31

Applicants must be full-time (12+ units per semester) undergraduate students at an accredited postsecondary institution. They must be rising juniors or above and must be enrolled in a subject that is related to the radio communications consulting engineering field. They must have or acquire an AFCCE member who will act as a sponsor. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

RMEL Foundation Scholarships

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 11

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and full-time students pursuing either a certificate, associate or baccalaureate degree in the electric energy arena including: power plant technology, electric line working, power line technology, electrical power technology, electrical line worker technology, electrical distribution systems, utility line technician and traditional or alternative power generation technology. Selection is based on future goals in the electric energy arena, motivation, service and academic performance.

 

Honeywell International Inc. Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be female U.S. citizens. They must be rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors or seniors and must plan to major in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or materials science and engineering. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Rockwell Automation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be sophomores who are majoring in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, engineering technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or software engineering. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale and must demonstrate leadership ability. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Northrop Grumman Corporation Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be undergraduate freshmen, sophomores or juniors. They must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in computer science, chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering. They must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Rockwell Collins Scholarship

Applicants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors who are majoring in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology or computer science. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

PG&E Better Together STEM Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicants must be PG&E customers who are either high school seniors, current college students, veterans or adults returning to school studying one of the following STEM related careers: Engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer, industrial or environmental), Computer Science/Information Systems, Cyber Security or Environmental Sciences. Students must intend to be full-time undergraduate students for the entire upcoming school year working toward their first degree at a PG&E Partner School in California.
