Applicant must be a graduate of an El Dorado county high school who is attending a college or graduate school outside of the county. Applicant must be pursuing a degree and/or career in earth sciences, lapidary arts, or other related fields at an accredited college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 18
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student who is pursuing (or intending to pursue) a degree in an engineering field or related technical sciences, including architecture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or earth sciences.
Award: $500, Deadline: September 30
Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student majoring or minoring in earth science (including geology, geophysics, and earth science education) at a two- or four-year college or university in the Treasure Island valley region of Idaho.
