Oscar W. Rittenhouse Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a New Jersey resident accepted for admission to a law school and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must show interest in pursuing a career as a prosecutor.

 

E. Wayne Kay Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA, who is enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering, technology, or a closely related field in the United States or Canada.

 

New Voices Young Playwrights Contest

Award: -, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must submit one original 10-minute play no more than 10 typed pages long. Musicals, children's shows, and plays that have received Equity production or have been previously submitted are not eligible.

 

B.K. Krenzer Memorial Reentry Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a woman who has been out of the job market as well as out of school for a minimum of two years. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

 

TELACU Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 17

Applicant must be a first-generation college student from a low-income family, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and be a full time student. Applicant must be a permanent resident of one of the specified communities in California, Illinois, Texas, or New York. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and financial need. Priority will be given to applicants majoring in business, science, technology, engineering or math, and who are attending institutions with matching funds and/or are located in Southern California.

 

Family Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have at least one parent or grandparent who has been an SME member in good standing for the last two years (includes step-mothers and step-fathers). Applicant may either be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate student with up to 30 completed credit hours in the pursuit of a degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, or a closely related engineering field of study at an accredited college or university the United States or Canada. Selection is based upon overall academic excellence, communication skills, interpersonal skills, demonstrated interest and aptitude for potential future success in a manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, or closely related field, and extracurricular activities.

 

Chapter 105 - Memphis - Les Segar Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be seeking an associate's degree or bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, or a closely related field of study. First preference will be given to residents of Tennessee. Second preference will be given to applicants who are seeking their education from the University of Memphis. Third preference will be given to applicants who are seeking their education from a college of university in the state of Tennessee.

Applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a manufacturing engineering or technology degree program, working through a co-op program in a manufacturing-related environment, and have at least 30 college credit hours.

 

Edward S. Roth Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current full-time graduate or undergraduate student seeking a bachelor's or master's degree in manufacturing engineering. Preferences will be given to students demonstrating financial need, minority students and students participating in a co-op program. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

 

Rozsi & Jeno Zisovich Jewish Studies Scholarship Fund to Teach the Holocaust

Applicant must be a resident of Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, or Sonoma County, Calif., demonstrate financial need, and be pursuing a career that will involve teaching the Holocaust to future generations.
