Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Roseburg High School. FAFSA required. Preference to those with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dependent of an employee of Calbag Metals who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

William D. and Ruth D. Roy Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon who will major in engineering at Portland State or Oregon State University. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 GPA required. Preference to nontraditional students.

 

George Ruhberg/Principal Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Alliance High School at Madison Night Campus or Marshall Night Campus.

 

Friends of Bill Rutherford Education Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is the child of an individual serving in the Oregon State Legislature or holding a statewide elected office and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Salem Electric Cooperative Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is receiving, or who's parents are receiving, service from Salem Electric at their primary residence. Salem Electric staff, board members, and immediate family are not eligible.

 

Salem Foundation Ansel & Marie Solie Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be an Oregon resident who is visually impaired and is enrolling full-time in undergraduate studies at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Portland Post Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Walter C. and Marie C. Schmidt Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling in a program to become a registered nurse with an intention of pursuing a career in geriatric health care. FAFSA and essay required. Preference to students attending Lane Community College. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

 

Burlington Alumni Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior or graduate of Burlington High School in Burlington, WY, who plans to attend or is currently enrolled full-time at a post-secondary, accredited educational institution. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and financial need are required.

 

Helen Hall and John Seely Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Douglas County high school who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above for the fall term/semester at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Donna Shepherd Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Lane County who will major in nursing at Lane Community College or Oregon Health & Science University. FAFSA required.

Applicant must be a graduate of a Curry, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, or Malheur County high school who will major in architecture at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

Applicant must not be a graduating high school senior, and may not major in medicine, nursing, or as a physician assistant. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA required. Preference to nontraditional students, first-generation college students, and students approaching the final year of their programs.

Applicant must be a graduate of a Clackamas County accredited high school who will attend a public college or university in Oregon, or Concordia, Corban, George Fox, Lewis & Clark, Linfield, Multnomah, New Hope Christian, Northwest Christian, Pacific, Warner Pacific, or Willamette University. Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior college student from Johnson County, WY, who is enrolled at least part-time at a post-secondary, not-for-profit educational institution. Primary criterion for selection is financial need.

 

Technical Training Fund

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of an Oregon high school who demonstrates extraordinary technical or artistic potential in the areas of craftsmanship, manual skills, art, music, culinary arts, or other related areas. FAFSA required.
