Olex School Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must qualify for one of these preferences in the following order: Graduating high school senior who attended Olex School for one or more years; Enrolled in Olex School District #11 in 1983 or later for one or more years; Graduating high school seniors of a Gilliam County high school; or a resident of Gilliam County. FAFSA required.

 

Kimberly Olson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Jefferson County high school who will enroll at least half time in a healthcare or medical-related field. FAFSA required.

 

One World Scholarship Essay

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be 21 years of age or under as of the March scholarship deadline and attend a public or nonprofit college or university. Essay is required, and winning essays will be published.

 

Oregon Dungeness Crab Commission Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a child, stepchild, or legal dependent of a licensed Oregon Dungeness Crab Fishermen or crew who is 23 years of age or younger. Graduating high school seniors may choose any major; students already enrolled must be majoring in environmental science, marine biology, wildlife science, or another related major.

 

Oregon Horticulture Society Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above majoring in agriculture science at a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Oregon Moving and Storage Association - Jack L. Stewart Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dependent of an Oregon Moving and Storage Association (OMSA) member or employee who will attend a college or university in Oregon.

 

Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division Workers Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is the dependent or spouse of an Oregon worker who has incurred permanent total disability (PTD) while working for an Oregon employer, or be receiving fatality benefits as a dependent or spouse of an Oregon worker fatally injured on the job while working for an Oregon employer. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Oregon Salmon Commission Scott Boley Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dependent of a licensed commercial Oregon troll salmon permit fisherman. FAFSA required. Preference to graduating high school seniors.

 

Community College Student Award Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled at least half time at a community college in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Transfer Student Award Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled in their second year at a community college and planning to transfer to a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Oregon State Fiscal Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a member or child of a member of the Oregon State Fiscal Association (OSFA) who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required. Members must study economics, finance, public administration, or related fields at least half time.

 

Oregon Student Access Commission Employee and Dependent Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current employee or child, stepchild, or legal dependent of a current employee, past employee who retired, is permanently disabled, or is deceased. Children and dependents must be 23 years of age or younger.

 

Joe Easley Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dependent of a licensed Oregon Trawl fisherman or crew. FAFSA required.

 

Oregon Wine Brotherhood Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Oregon or Washington who will major in culinary arts, enology, or viticulture at Chemeketa, Central Oregon, Lane, Mt. Hood, Southwestern Oregon, Umpqua, or Walla Walla Community College, Oregon State University, or the University of California at Davis. FAFSA required.

 

Bill Magness Pacific Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Pacific High School who will enroll at least half time at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Jerry and Bonnie Cox Education Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Pacific High School who will enroll at least half time at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Oregon or Washington who is a member in good standing of Pacific NW Federal Credit Union. Essay required. Immediate family of Pacific NW Federal Credit Union employees and credit union elected, appointed officials are not eligible.

 

PacificSource Health Plans Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dependent of an eligible employee of PacificSource who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA (2650 GED) required. Dependents of PacificSource officers are not eligible.

 

Anna F. Jones Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be graduate of Paisley High School who attended Paisley for all four years and will attend a public college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Laurie Malcom Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of Pendleton High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required. Preference to female students.

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Portland, Oregon who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required. Preference to those attending an Oregon community college, Portland State, or Oregon State University and majoring in public safety or a related field.

 

Governor Longley Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a Maine native (born in Maine or graduate from a Maine high school) who is first-year, full-time student at Eastern Maine Community College as of this upcoming fall. Completed FAFSA and financial need are required.

 

Joseph and Helen Morgan Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Roseburg High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 GPA required. Preference to those attending Umpqua Community College, or a college or university in Oregon.
