Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.

They must be attending a college with a student chapter of AATCC in New England, New York or New Jersey. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, financial need and work experience/history. Students may apply directly or be nominated by a university department head.

Students enrolled in non-accredited programs who have been accepted to an NAAB accredited master's degree program, as well as those currently enrolled in such a program, are also eligible. Applicants must be full-time students. Preference is given to students at the University of Pennsylvania, Georgia Institute of Technology and Fontainebleau summer program and to Connecticut residents.
