Central Methodist University Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program

This need based program assists high school students with college costs. To be eligible applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a Missouri resident; must have filed the FAFSA by April 1; must be a current undergraduate student enrolled full time and have an EFC of $12,000 or less.

 

Cynthia and Alan Baran Fine Arts and Music Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be current students at an accredited college or university, take at least six credit hours and be enrolled in a bachelor's of fine art, bachelor's of studio art, master's of fine art or bachelor's or master's in music program. Art students must major in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography or printmaking. Preference for music scholarships is given to those studying acoustic mandolin or acoustic guitar. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

ACES Copy Editing Scholarships

Applicants must be college juniors, seniors or graduate students. Graduating students who will take full-time copy editing jobs or internships are eligible. They must demonstrate interest in and aptitude for copy editing.

 

Karen Ann Shopis-Fox Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be Connecticut residents and be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary landscape architecture or environmental education program. Both undergraduate and graduate students may apply.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Bay Area college or university. Those students attending college out of state must have graduated from a Bay Area high school. Applicants must be studying photojournalism in one of the following: television, radio, print or multimedia.

Applicants must be Vermont residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must major horticulture, landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. They must be sponsored by a member of the Advertising Club of Connecticut. Selection is based on GPA (20 percent), essay (30 percent), work experience and activities (30 percent) and SAT/ACT scores (20 percent).

Eugene S. Kropf Scholarship

Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled in an aviation-related curriculum of a two-year or a four-year degree at a UAA member college or university. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and write a 250-word paper on how they can improve aviation education.

Texas Broadcast Education Foundation Scholarships

Applicants must be TAB student members or attend a TAB member college or university. All eligible applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and enroll full-time in a program that emphasizes radio or television broadcasting or communications at a college or university in Texas.

 

ACEC Colorado Scholarship Program

Applicants must be full-time students pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or surveying at an accredited college or university in Colorado. They must be entering their junior, senior or fifth year. Selection is based on GPA (24 points), essay (25 points), work experience (24 points), recommendation (17 points) and extracurricular activities (10 points).

ACEC New York Scholarship Program

Applicants must be in their third year of study in a four-year program or their fourth year of study in a five-year program at an engineering school in New York State. They must major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, engineering technology or surveying. They must plan to make New York State their home and/or career area. Selection is based on work experience (25 percent), college activities and recommendations (15 percent), essay (30 percent) and GPA (30 percent).

AGC of Massachusetts Scholarships

Applicants must be undergraduate sophomores or above at an accredited college or university. They must be legal residents of Massachusetts (though they may attend school outside of the state) and must be enrolled in a degree program related to construction or civil engineering. Selection is based on financial need and the overall strength of the application.
