Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant. Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Lockheed-Martin Corp. Scholarship

Applicant must be a woman with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

 

Northrop Grumman Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a female full-time student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Engineering. Focus on one of the following disciplines is required: civil and materials, electrical and computer, computer science, or mechanical engineering. Applicant must show evidence of above average academic performance (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0). Women of color (African American, Latina, Native American) are encouraged to apply. Application coversheet, biographical statement, current resume or CV (list your education and employment history), UIC transcript, proof of financial aid eligibility, proof of U.S. citizenship (copy of birth certificate or passport), and two letters of recommendation (include at least one from a UIC instructor) required.

 

B.K. Krenzer Memorial Reentry Scholarship

Applicant must be a woman who has been out of the job market as well as out of school for a minimum of two years. Applicant must be in an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution.

Applicant must be a graduate from an Iowa secondary school. Selection is based upon academic achievement and financial need. Preference given to majors in: chemistry, civil engineering, engineering, food technology, microbiology, and zoology.

ACI Scholarship

Applicant must have a bachelor's degree by summer of the application year and be accepted or enrolled full-time for the first or second year of graduate study at an accredited school which offers a graduate program in concrete design, materials, or construction.

 

American Society of Naval Engineers Award

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate an interest in naval engineering.

 

McNamee, Porter, & Seeley/U of Michigan/John C. Seeley, PE, Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: First week of April

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Michigan resident, be a member of MSPE, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation. Selection is based upon academic record, extracurricular activities, professor recommendations, and leadership and other personal traits. Preference is given to sanitary engineering majors.

 

MSPE Abrams Foundation Grant

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Michigan resident, be enrolled in an ABET-accredited Michigan college, be a member of MSPE, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation.
