Applicant must be a resident of Massachusetts who is graduating from a Massachusetts high school. Minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1500 (composite ACT score of 34) required.

Provost Scholarship

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Regional Provost Scholarship

Applicant must be a New England regional or Proximity resident. Minimum 3.75 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32) required.

 

Regional Academic Council Scholarship

Applicant must be a New England Regional or Proximity resident. Minimum 3.5 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27) required.

 

Alumni Association Outstanding Faculty Award Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering or current student. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Ann Horvath Memorial Scholarship

Blue Communities Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering student, current student, or graduate student majoring in environmental studies. Minimum 3.0 GPA and 500- to 1,000-word essay on a topic related to sustainability in arid urban environments required.

 

Boyer Family Foundation Millennium Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering freshman or current student. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Caesars Entertainment Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering freshman, current student, or graduate student participating in the Harrah Hotel College Mentor Program. Applicant must be majoring in any major within the College of Hotel Administration. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Charles and Selma Knauss Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering freshman, current student, or graduate student enrolled in the College of Business. Minimum 2.75 GPA (undergraduates) and 3.0 GPA (graduates) required.

 

Chester D. Simms Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering freshman or current student from Nevada who is majoring in special education. Minimum 2.5 GPA and FAFSA required.

 

Child of Alumni Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1 (priority)

Applicant must be the child or legal dependent of a UNLV alumnus who is either a lifetime member of the UNLV Alumni Association or has been a dues-paying member of the UNLV Alumni Association for at least three consecutive years. Minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1040 (composite ACT score of 22) required.

 

Clark County Medical Society Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering freshman or continuing sophomore or junior majored in nursing. Applicant must be a resident of Clark County, NV. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Commercial Roofers Inc. Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time entering freshman, current student or graduate student majoring in architecture. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

RiSE Scholarship

Applicant must be a current high school, college-bound senior, who has submitted applications to and is planning to attend an accredited college or university. Applicant must have a documented learning disability. Minimum 2.5 GPA and letter of reference from a teacher, high school counselor, or principal of present high school required.

 

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay & Video Contest

Applicant must be a high school student at a Utah public, private, or charter school. Essay or video required.

 

California Strawberry Scholarship Program

Applicant must have a parent who is currently employed as a California strawberry fieldworker. Applicant must be a full-time student in a trade school, community college, four-year university, or graduate/professional program during the period for which scholarship is requested. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Cancer for College Scholarship

Applicant must be a cancer patient/cancer survivor who is a U.S. resident enrolled in an accredited university or community college. Recipient must be willing to attend regional events associated with the scholarship awarded and available for selected interviews and/or media coverage.

 

Community Service Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior who resides in one of the following counties: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Merced, Stanislaus, Alameda, San Joaquin, Contra Costa, Solano, Yolo, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Clara, or Marin. Demonstration of community service and financial need are required.

 

New American Scholars Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 13

Applicant must be foreign born who does not have permanent residency or citizenship in the United States who has lived in California for two or more years of their high school careers. Applicant must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. One of the following is required: (1) previous or intended graduation from a San Francisco Bay Area high school, or (2) current or expected enrollment in a San Francisco Bay Area college or university. Minimum 3.3 GPA required of high school applicants; 3.0 GPA required of undergraduate/graduate applicants.

 

Mineral and Gem Society Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a graduate of an El Dorado county high school who is attending a college or graduate school outside of the county. Applicant must be pursuing a degree and/or career in earth sciences, lapidary arts, or other related fields at an accredited college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Elaine and Barry Gilbert College Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a Jewish high school senior who will attend a University of California campus. Applicant's parents must be permanent residents of San Francisco, the Peninsula (Sunnyvale and north), Marin, or Sonoma County. Minimum 3.5 GPA, financial need, and demonstrated Jewish involvement required. Preference given to graduates of San Francisco's Lowell or Washington High School.

 

Shirley and Robert Raymer College Scholarship Fund

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a Jewish high school senior who has been accepted to an academically selective, four-year college or university. Academic excellence, financial need, and demonstration of Jewish community involvement required.

 

Providian Medical Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 21; January 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or current college student at a U.S.-based institution. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay on how medical equipment technology has changed the face of a college course and curriculum required.

 

SAME Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 18

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student who is pursuing (or intending to pursue) a degree in an engineering field or related technical sciences, including architecture, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or earth sciences.
