Applicant must prove a minimum 13 years residence of the Glendale, La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge, Montrose, Verdugo City, Sunland or Tujunga area. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Glendale Latino Association Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Glendale, CA who is of latino heritage and will attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

Gonzales Harris Bilingual Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduateing senior from a Verduo region high school who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution. US Citizenship, fluency in English and Spanish, minimum 3.5 GPA required.

Alumni Association Undergraduate Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time freshman or sophomore at Evergreen State College who has been involved with community service. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Amando Barzola Hidalgo Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time student at Evergreen State College for whom Spanish is their first language. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Photography Scholarship Contest

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 11

Applicant must be a senior in high school or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior enrolled in an official undergraduate program of study in the United States for the upcoming fall semester. Applicant must submit a photo of a threatened environmental treasure that they believe is worth protecting, along with an explanation (40 to 50 words) of how population growth has put this treasure at risk. Photographs will be judged based on originality, relevance to topic, and evidence of critical thinking.

 

International Students Academic Merit Scholarship
