Tanner J. Perry Memorial Scholarship

Award: $625, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Cashmere High School who is enrolled in an accredited educational program. Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to extracurricular activities such as cross-country, leadership, and/or knowledge bowl. Preference will be given to students pursuing a field related to science and/or math.

 

Paine Electronics Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County high school who plans to major in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required. Award amount is paid over four years.

 

Paine Electronics Family Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of any high school whose parents are employed by Paine Electronics. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Dorothy Prewitt Pohlman/AAUW Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a current or former female student at Wenatchee Valley College who has completed a minimum of 60 credits and is pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year college in Washington state.

 

Josh Putman Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who has been accepted at an accredited educational program in the United States. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need required.

 

Paul Reasor Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who has been accepted at an accredited educational program in the United States. Applicant must have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of two years. Minimum GPA between 2.8 and 3.5, personal statement, and letters of recommendation required.

Nick Schoffen Music Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who plans to further their education in a music field at an accredited educational program in the United States.

 

Melonye Shurtz Memorial Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who is pursuing further education in a service related field such as teaching, medical, social work, etc. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Silver Star Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a resident of Washington State for at least one year prior to graduation from Chelan or Manson High School. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Bob and Valerie Valaas Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee or Westside High School who plans to enter the health science program at Wenatchee Valley College. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need required.

 

Alumni Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,625, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School. Selection based upon financial need.

 

Jane Lovejoy Memorial Leadership Scholarship

Award: $2,775, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School. Minimum 3.0 GPA, leadership qualities, and financial need are required.

 

Union Township Alumni Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in Union Township and will enroll in post-secondary education. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

URS Corporation Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Greenwood Community High School planning to major in architecture full-time at Ball State University who is in the top 20% of the graduating class.

 

Judith Butler Van Valer Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current or past graduate of Greenwood Community High School or a high school in Marion or Hamilton County who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university and major in the arts or education.

 

Wenatchee Valley Street Rods Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from any high school in Washington State who has been accepted into an accredited college, university, or trade school. Applicant must have been active in their community, specifically in drug and alcohol prevention or awareness. Financial need and involvement in community, school and/or church are required.

 

James A. Voland Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Franklin Community High School who will enroll full-time at an accredited college or university.

 

Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship

Award: $400, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a non-traditional student at Wenatchee Valley College who is enrolled in allied health sciences.

 

Daniel Warner Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current or past graduate of Whiteland Community High School who will pursue a two- or four-year degree full-time at an accredited college or university.

 

JSSA Scholarship for Graduate Studies

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Jewish resident under the age of 30 who is from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and has been accepted into an accredited four-year graduate program on a full-time basis. Selection is based primarily upon financial need.

 

Dean's Scholarship

Award: $11,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a high school senior with an average 3.8 GPA and average combined SAT Reasoning score of 1177 (composite ACT score of 26).

 

Transfer Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Minaret Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior with an average 3.33 GPA and average combined SAT Reasoning score of 1113 (composite ACT score of 24). Leadership and/or community service must be demonstrated.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $14,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a high school senior with an average 3.8 GPA and average combined SAT reasoning score of 1294 (composite ACT score of 29).

 

Music Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be an entering or transfer student (fall term entry only) who has completed the admissions application and has been accepted as a full-time student. Audition required.

 

Life Science Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a new entering student (fall term entry only) who has been accepted as a full-time student. Applicant must plan to major in one of the following disciplines: biology, biochemistry, environmental science, forensic science, or marine science (biology or chemistry).

 

Government and World Affairs, Pre-Law Scholarships

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a new entering student (fall term entry only) who has been accepted as a full-time student. Applicant must plan to major in one of the following disciplines: government/world affairs, international/cultural studies, or pre-law pre-profession concentration.

 

Tampa Writing Scholars

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a new entering student (fall term entry only) with a minimum 3.2 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24). Applicant must plan to major in English and writing and join the staff of a University of Tampa student publication. Exceptional potential for achievement in English or writing is required to be demonstrated.

 

Performing Arts Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a new entering student (fall term entry only) who has had experience in high school or community theatre productions. Demonstration of ability in stage movement, acting, and singing is required.
