Applicant must be a high school senior with a minimum 2.8 GPA. Applicant must be the child of an Ulland Brothers employee.

 

Robert B. and Sophia Whiteside Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school senior at a Duluth public/private high school who is in the top tenth of their graduating class.

 

Alejandro 'Alex' Abecia Reaching High

Award: $100, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a senior member of the Mary Carroll High School Band or graduating senior member of the Mary Carroll High School soccer team. Applicant must be a member of the A/B Honor roll and have taken an honors class in high school. Minimum 12 hour courseload required to be taken per semester.

 

Beverly Acock Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Nueces County who is in the top quarter of their high school class. Applicant must be planning to enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours at an accredited college or university in the United States/

 

Martin Allen Scholarship

Award: $200, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Coastal Bend high school or a college student who attended a Coastal Bend high school. Applicant must be majoring in music; preference will be given to students majoring in jazz. Applicant must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and course load of at least 12 college credits per semester.

 

Zachary Barriger Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a senior at Tuloso-Midway High School who plans to attend an accredited two- or four-year college in Texas and have an interest in pursuing studies in the fields of engineering or medicine.

 

Beecroft Family Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior or current college student in Nueces of San Patricio Counties with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicant must plan to attend or be currently attending Del Mar College or Texas A&M University - Corpus Christie and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

 

Reverend E.F. Bennett Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Coastal Bend high school who is in the top 10 percent of their graduating class. Applicant must plan to attend Del Mar College, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, or Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Financial need is required.

 

Marion Luna Brem/Pat McNeil Health & Education Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have attended high school in the Coastal Bend and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be planning to attend Coastal Bed College, Del Mar College, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, or Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Minimum 2.0 GPA and nine semester hours must be maintained.

 

Barry Martin Brown Memorial Scholarship

Award: $450, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be either a graduating high school senior in Nueces County who plans to major in the visual arts (with a preference for ceramic art) or be a current student at Del Mar College or Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. Applicant must enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours at Del Mar College or Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

 

Cecil E. Burney Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate of a Coastal Bend high school pursuing a liberal arts degree with a major in history, political science, music, or education at one of the following schools: Coastal Bend College, Del Mar College, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, or Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Coastal Bend Filipino American Scholarship

Award: $225, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the Coastal Bend who has a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must plan to enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours at an accredited college or university in the United States. Preference will be given to students of Filipino-American heritage.

 

Doraine Pursuit of Educational Excellence Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the Coastal Bend who is in the top five percent of their graduating class. Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours at a college or university in the United States.

 

Barney Flynn Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff, or Tuloso-Midway ISD high school who is a member of the high school band at a high performance level.

 

Hazel and Bill Gayle Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in Bee, Refugio, or San Patricio Country with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must plan to major in K-12 education and enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours of Coastal Bend College.

 

Melissa Guerra Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior at Mary Carroll High School who plans to attend an accredited public college or university in Texas. Financial need is required.

 

Govind and Bahkti Nadkarni Engineering Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior or current college student in the Coastal Bend with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must plan to attend Del Mar College or Texas A&M - Kingsville and pursue a major in civil engineering. Minimum 12 semester hours required.

 

Manuel Hernandez, Jr. Foundation Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Roy Miller High School and have been accepted by a college, university, trade, or vocational institution. Essay required.

 

Allison D'Ann Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior at HM King High School who plans to enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours at an accredited college or university in the United States.

 

Casey Laine Armed Forces Scholarship

Award: $200, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior or current graduate from a Coastal Bend high school who will graduate in the top half of their graduating class. Applicant must fall into one of the following categories: be a member or honorably discharged veteran of the armed services; be an R.O.T.C. member (high school seniors must agree to join an R.O.T.C. program upon entering college); or be the son or daughter of a member or honorably discharged veteran of the armed services. Applicant must be planning to attend an any accredited college in the United States and enroll in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

 

Sue Kay Lay Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school senior who is graduating at the end of the spring semester from a high school in the Coastal Bend. Applicant must plan to enroll in college as a full-time student. Financial need, essay, and 4.0 GPA are required.

 

Glen LeBleu Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a sophomore at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi who is majoring in education. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and maintain a course load of at least 12 semester hours (nine for graduate students).

 

Brian and Colleen Miller Math and Science Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school junior or senior who is currently attending a Coastal Bend high school and who plans to attend an accredited four-year college or university. Essay and documentation of participation and/or awards in the areas of mathematics and/or science are required.

 

J.J. Rains Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Copperas Cove High School or Crossroads High School with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Applicant must have participated in speech or debate. Financial need is required.

 

Jack and Shirley Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school student, current or returning student, and those with a GED certificate who plans to enroll in a technical or mechanical training (particularly automotive-related) program, or veterinary-related or business related field. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Joseph A. Huerta Puedo Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate from Copperas Cove High School or Crossroads High School who plans to enroll as a full-time college student at a four-year accredited college or university. Minimum 3.5 GPA and financial need are required.

 

Rotary Club of Corpus Christi Scholarship

Award: $3,300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be graduating from a Copperas Cove district school; Tuloso-Midway, Calallen, West Oso, or Flour Bluff high schools; Incarnate Word Academy, Corpus Christi Academy, or Annapolis Christian Academy. Applicant must plan to attend Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi or Del Mar College as a full time student. Financial need is required. Award amount is dependent upon by chosen college/university.

 

Seaman Family Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Coastal Bend or Calhoun County home-schooled student who has been accepted at an accredited college or university as a full-time student. Financial need and essay are required.

 

Roy Smith Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in Nueces County who plans to enroll in a college or university as a full-time student. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Jim Springer Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of the Coastal Bend who is a full-time college sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in public relations, marketing, advertising, or communications. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
