Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (minimum composite ACT score of 27) who is majoring in english, foreign language, history, linguistics, or writing.

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United Stats, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands majoring in the arts, including but not limited to media, film, performing arts, communications, or writing. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Washington High School who plans to pursue a two- or four-year college or vocational school degree in computer animation, computer art design, computer game design, computer graphics, or writing (literature, not journalism) at an accredited institution.

Applicant must be a new entering student (fall term entry only) with a minimum 3.2 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24). Applicant must plan to major in English and writing and join the staff of a University of Tampa student publication. Exceptional potential for achievement in English or writing is required to be demonstrated.
