Annette Kade Fellowship

Applicant must be a French or German pre-doctoral student who would not otherwise have the opportunity to study in the U.S. Award is for one year's study or research at the Metropolitan Museum.

 

Scholars-in-Residence Program

Selection is based upon a project description, curriculum vitae, sample of applicant's work, and three letters of reference.

 

Centennial Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be accepted into an accredited nursing program in Oregon and be taking courses offered in the nursing curriculum (not pre-requisite courses) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection will be based upon leadership abilities/experiences; experiences with other cultures, minority groups, and under-served populations; career plans in nursing; and reasons for needing scholarship funds. Letter of Acceptance from nursing program, official transcript of all college coursework, and signed GPA form are required to be submitted.

 

Baird Society Resident Scholar

Applicant must be in residence at the Smithsonian during the award period. The focus of the applicant's project must center around Special Collections, which are located in Washington, D.C., and New York City.

 

Charles E. Peterson Fellowship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must hold a terminal degree and possess a distinguished record of accomplishment. Research is not subject to geographical restrictions, although preference is given to Delaware Valley topics. Award applications should be submitted in the form of a single-page leter setting forth a brief statement of the project, with attached budget, schedule for completion, and professional resume. Two letters of reference should be requested by the applicant and submitted directly to the committee.

 

Charles E. Peterson Internship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant should outline his or her project and explain why access to the research facilities of the Philadelphia region is required. Applicant should also submit a resume of academic and related work experience. A letter of reference is required from the student's principal professor.

 

Albert G. Richards Graduate Student Research Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Selection is based upon originality of research project, sound methodology, and significance to the field of oral and maxillofacial radiology.

 

William H. Rollins Award

Applicant must be currently enrolled in an American Dental Association accredited dental graduate program with an oral and maxilofacial radiology track. Applicant should be a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and have applied for membership at the time of application. Projects should involve research in oral and maxillofacial radiology and have been completed at the time of application. The study should result in the publication of a masters thesis or an article suitable for publication.

 

Zimmermann Scholarship

Applicant must be of Swiss descent or have one parent who is a Swiss citizen, be a permanent resident of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania, and have a minimum 3.8 GPA.

 

Radiology Centennial Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled currently as an entering or fully matriculated graduate student in an American Dental Association-accredited oral and maxillofacial radiology program at the time of application. Completed application form, three letters of recommendation, a typed statement of personal and professional goals, academic achievement record form, and confirmation of matriculation in an oral and maxillofacial radiology program required.

 

Lanford Family Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of a deceased or permanently disabled highway worker. Applicant's parent must have been the employee of a transportation construction firm or a transportation public agency, and have suffered a work-related roadway construction zone accident.

Applicant must be a resident or current/past employee of a health care facility in the Allen Community Hospital District. Applicant must want to pursue or further their education in health care (including postgraduate or short-term refresher courses). Award is not for those who are studying to become doctors. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required. Award amount is determined by committee.

 

Student Vision Endowment Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen and be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas. Undergraduate applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Graduate applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA either in all graduate coursework or in the last 60 credits of undergraduate coursework. Financial need is considered.

 

Paul S. McCord, D.O. Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a student from the third-year class at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine who has demonstrated a desire for and is committed to providing medical services in underserved and/or disadvantaged areas.
