Applicant must be a current full-time student, in good standing, at one of the four OSGC member universities. Self-nomination, faculty recommendation, an essay describing research or career interest in aerospace related research or education, grade point average and/or GRE score, and three letters of recommendation which include an OSGC evaluation form are required.
Recipients must be directly mentored by faculty either currently engaged in NASA related research, or who have strong potential for receiving aerospace-related funding.
Stipend while working with faculty involved in aerospace related research, travel to professional conferences, travel to NASA centers to meet with scientists, and marginal funds for lab supplies.
Recipient must reapply for renewal.
