Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1 (high school seniors); April 1 (undergraduates); February 15 (graduates)
Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong leadership qualities, and specific goals for a career in graphics. Selection is based upon test scores and recommendations.
Award: $500, Deadline: March 7
Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Los Angeles area high school who will major in business, journalism, marketing, or publishing.
Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 2
Applicants must be full-time students interested in a career in the preparation, production or distribution of documents. Possible areas of study include marketing, graphic arts, e-commerce, imaging science, printing, web authoring, electronic publishing, computer science, telecommunications or business. For most scholarships, applicants must be junior, senior or graduate students; however opportunities exist for students at all levels, including those attending two-year colleges. Specific scholarships are available for U.S. and Canadian citizens. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.
Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 24
Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university or technical school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Selection is based on book and cover design projects.
