Applicant must submit an original manuscript of 3,000 to 5,000 words on a topic related to internal auditing. The specific topic is chosen annually. Selection is based upon focus on the selected topic, originality, quality of writing, and value to the internal auditing profession.

Applicant must be a first-year student entering the university who has already completed three years of German study in high school or abroad and maintained a "B" average in those German courses. Preference will be given to the student who has declared a major or minor in German. Applicant must be active in the Corpus Christi University Parish (CCUP), and attend the prescribed classes and seminars.
