The program allows the children of faculty members, staff and administrators of Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) affiliated colleges to attend a CCCU-affiliated college tuition free. The Tuition Waiver Exchange Program (TWEP) is open to undergraduate dependents of full-time faculty, staff and/or administrators who have been at the sending institution for one full year prior to TWEP participation. This merit based program encourages top ranked high school seniors to attend college. To be eligible applicants must be a Missouri resident and a United States citizen or permanent resident; have a composite score on the ACT or SAT in either: the top 3 percent of all Missouri students, or the top 4th or 5th percentiles of all Missouri. Applicants must also enroll as a first time student and receive the scholarship in the academic year immediately following high school graduation.

 

National Foliage Foundation General Scholarships

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or full-time undergraduate or graduate students. They must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a horticulture or related degree program and must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must be Illinois residents. They must be either enrolled in or accepted into a hospital-related healthcare degree or certificate program, excluding any programs having a general education curriculum (such as pre-medicine programs). Applicants must have at least one year remaining in their program of study. They should have a GPA of 3.5 on a four-point scale in order to be competitive for this award. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.

 

College of the Ozarks Bright Flight Program

Award: $3,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicants must be Iowa residents, be incoming freshmen at an Iowa college or university and have experience in 4-H and/or FFA livestock projects. They must have plans to major in animal science, agriculture or a related subject. Preference will be given to applicants from Polk County. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be enrolled in an approved Physician Assistant (PA) degree program at a postsecondary institution located in Iowa. They must have had an outstanding undergraduate academic record, strong leadership skills and a well-developed knowledge of the role of the professional physician assistant. Selection is based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership ability, commitment to the field of physician assisting, extracurricular activities and professional awareness.

They must be majoring in or have plans to major in an agriculture-related undergraduate program that focuses on swine production. They must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes

Award: $5,000, Deadline: November 10

Applicants must be U.S. graduate students enrolled in a research-oriented master's or Ph.D. program or college graduates enrolled in a joint bachelor's/master's program at a U.S. institution. Students must pursue studies in science, engineering and education research. The award provides summer research experience in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore or Taiwan, a $5,000 stipend, round-trip airfare, living expenses and orientation in Washington, DC.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who either are attending a school located in Delaware or are Delaware residents. They must have plans to enroll in an ABET-accredited engineering program in the fall following high school graduation. They must have a minimum SAT verbal score of 500, a minimum SAT math score of 600 and a minimum SAT writing score of 500. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Missouri Baptist University Bright Flight Program

Applicants must be U.S. citizens. They must be full-time students enrolled in a medical school or nursing degree program at an accredited Wisconsin college or university. Rising undergraduate freshmen, undergraduate medical students and nursing students enrolled in a less than two-year program are ineligible. Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents and to applicants who are planning to practice in Wisconsin. Selection is based on academic merit, personal qualities, recommendations and financial need.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are enrolled at an accredited college or university located in Missouri. They must have completed coursework in subjects relating to the water supply industry (such as environmental engineering, civil engineering or environmental science). Students who are receiving funding from an employer are ineligible. Selection is based on coursework relevance, GPA, financial need, recommendations, personal essay and extracurricular activities.

They must be majoring in a subject that is related to facility management (such as business operations, construction science, interior design, environmental design, architecture or engineering). Selection is based on stated career goals, GPA, recommendations, extracurricular activities and applicant interview.

Applicants must be Kansas residents and high school graduates who are planning to enroll at a Kansas postsecondary institution. They must be recommended for the award by a member of the Kansas Agricultural Aviation Association (KAAA) and must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in agriculture, agricultural business, aviation or engineering. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
