David C. Ford Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a resident of Blackford County who is committed to Christian principles and good citizenship and plans to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study in math, pre-law, science, or technology at a college or university in Indiana.

 

KHS Class of '59 Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Preston County high school graduate who is regularly enrolled as an undergraduate student in a four-year college or university, pursuing studies in science, technology, education, and/or mathematics. Minimum 2.5 GPA and documentation of community service are required.

 

David and Barbara Kruse Paw Paw High School Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or graduate of Paw Paw High School who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a technical school trade school or community college in a course of study that will lead to a career in the field of technology (e.g. auto technician, graphic design, information or manufacturing technology). Minimum 2.0 GPA, extracurricular or community volunteer activities, and work experience are required.

 

The Boeing Company Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a junior or senior at the time of the award and majoring in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, math). Demonstration of involvement in community service and minimum 3.25 GPA are required.

 

STEM Educator Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is enrolled in a masters program at a TSGC member institution in good standing. Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree.

 

TSGC Fellowship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is registered as a full-time student in a graduate program.

 

TSGC Columbia Crew Memorial Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States who is registered for at least a half-time course load or more at a TSCG member institution in good standing as: a sophomore at a two-year institution; a sophomore at a four-year institution; a junior or senior at a four-year institution; or a first or second year student at a medical school.

 

Gewecke Memorial Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Wood River Rural High School pursuing an agricultural, automotive or technology field of study.

 

Red Boucher Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a resident of Alaska who will pursue post-secondary education or training in a technology-related field.

 

W. Leonard Brown Service Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Pocomoke High School who will pursue post-secondary education in business or technology.

 

Math, Science, and Technology Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student whose record reflects above average ability in mathematics, science, or technology. Minimum 3.0 GPA, personal statement, and recommendations from a secondary school teacher or counselor required.

 

Unitil Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Unitil service territory in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts who plans to major in science, technology, engineering, or math. Selection based upon academic merit, financial need, other scholarships awarded, outside student activities and other relevant factors such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year.

 

College Scholarship Program

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a prospective or current college student who is pursuing a technology degree or related program. Essay on one of the topics found on sponsor's site is required.

 

AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31; June 30; September 30; December 31

Applicant must be a currently enrolled student who is working toward a degree in a field of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) from a group under-represented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by: gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality and other non-visible differences. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Applicant must click the blue Apply button on the AfterCollege application page and complete their AfterCollege profile which will be the criteria (with specific emphasis on the personal statement) used to determine the recipient of the award.

 

Bennett Scholarship

Applcant must be a full-time student at Evergreen State College majoring in engineering, science, or technology.

Applicant must be a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior at Evergreen State College majoring in a technology-related field who meets one of the following criteria: first generation student, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, African American, a parent, age 24-26, high level of student loan indebtedness. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Great Lakes National Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a high school senior, college, or graduate student who plans to enroll full-time in a science, technology, engineering or math program. Minimum 2.75 GPA and demonstrated financial need is required.

 

ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarship

Applicant must be an underrepresented African-American or Hispanic high school senior who is attending a high school in a Council of Great City Schools district and plans to enroll in a four-year college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA and plans to pursue a career in an area of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics required.

 

Imagine Cup Games Competition

Award: $50,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant(s) must create a desktop or tablet game using Windows, a mobile game using Windows Phone, or a browser game using Windows Azure. Groups of no more than four students are allowed and applicant(s) must be at least 16 years old. Proposal document, software, and instructions are required.

 

Adelante/Ford Motor Company Future Leaders Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: May 30

Applicant be a U.S. citizen of hispanic descent who has completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework and attended a San Antonio area high school (50 mile radius) and is majoring in mathematics, science, engineering, or technology. Minimum 2.75 GPA, full-time enrollment status, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Master's Degree Scholarship in Information Systems and Technology Management

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be pursuing a master's degree in information systems and technology. Selection is based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

 

Washington NASA Space Grant Community College Transfer Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Washington state who is pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics and will be transferring to the University of Washington.

 

USA to Australia Fellowship

Award: $40,000, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must be a graduate student or above who will be attending an Australian educational institution majoring in engineering, medicine, sustainability, or technology. Three essays, three letters of reference, a proposed budget, transcripts, and letter of acceptance to an Australian University required. Must be a U.S. citizen and full-time student.

 

Betsy Y. Justus Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a female college freshman, re-entry, or transfer student who is a North Carolina resident enrolled at an accredited institution in North Carolina. Must be a STEM major with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Essay, transcripts, proof of acceptance, and letter of recommendation required.

 

Olin E. Teague Memorial Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: October 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a senior at an accredited U.S. high school pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM). Transcripts, one letter of recommendation, statement of intent, and research paper required.

 

Making the Future Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is enrolling or currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a career in a STEM field. Minimum 2.5 GPA and project required.

 

GAHCC Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be a Hispanic high school graduate seeking a degree in a STEM (Science, technology, engineering, or math) field.

John Borden Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Computer Clubhouse member who is a graduating senior from Fairfax County Public Schools. Strong record of participation in Clubhouse activities, strong record of community involvement, STEM related degree objective, and proof of U.S. citizenship required.

 

National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: December 2

Applicants must be high school seniors, undergraduate or graduate level college pursuing a degree that will lead to a career in the science, technology, engineering or math fields. Preference given to those students with space related interests. Students must be U.S. citizens. Applicants will submit, along with the application, a video of themselves speaking on the topic of "Why you are inspired by space." Finalists will be expected to speak at the Goddard Memorial Dinner in March.
