Applicants must be a high school or collegiate student who plans on a career in technology or computer sciences. Scholarships will be awarded based on need in addition to the strength of the student's academic background and demonstrated leadership.

Applicants must be attending an accredited 4-year university or college located in United States as an undergraduate or graduate level student or be a graduating high-school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Applicants must be pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Applicants must come up with a unique way to solve the budget deficit through education and empowering our youth. Solutions may be in the form of an essay, YouTube video or an infographic. Applications must be emailed.

Applicants must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington and be high school seniors or college or graduate students (community college, four-year public or private college or university, certificate program, vocational/technical/trade programs, law school, medical/dental/veterinary school or graduate education). Students must be members of the LGBTQ and allied community and display leadership either within the LGBTQ community or within their field of study and demonstrate financial need. Students with additional barriers to education as well as those who are economically, racially, socially, geographically or politically disenfranchised will be given consideration as well. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).

Applicants must be rising high school seniors or students currently attending college. Students must be pursuing or intend to seek a degree in a field related to technology - including computer science, computer engineering, sciences, engineering, graphic design, or a closely related field. Applicants may choose to include a written description or video of work done using technology.

Applicants must be incoming freshmen, transfer students or currently enrolled at Alabama State University in the College of Science, Mathematics and Technology.

Applicants must be incoming freshman or currently enrolled female students pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree. Students must be majoring in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. school and submit an essay along with their completed application.

Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in an engineering, ergonomics, or technology program at an accredited undergraduate secondary program. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and be able to provide evidence of strong involvement in community service. Applicants must write an essay as part of their application.
