Emily M. Hewitt Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a student or graduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited California post-secondary educational institution whose educational goals coincide with Emily Hewitt's interest in communicating and interpreting nature's wonder. Applicants pursuing degrees in environmental protection, forestry, wildlife and fisheries, biology, parks and recreation, park management, environmental law and public policy, environmental art, and California history are encouraged to apply.

 

Richard Heckert Fellow

Award: $5,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a student who is majoring in an engineering discipline. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Latina Leadership Partner Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a full-time, first-year or transfer Lehigh Valley Latina student. Selection based upon academic excellence and leadership.

 

The Warrior Award

Award: $2,500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must have a combined SAT Reasoning score between 870 and 930 (composite ACT score between 18 and 19) and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Babson Award

Award: $9,500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must have a combined SAT Reasoning score between 1250 and 3600 (composite ACT score of 29 and 36) and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Trustee Award

Award: $8,500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a transfer student with a combined GPA between 3.3 and 3.6.

 

Presidential Award

Award: $7,500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a transfer student with a combined SAT Reasoning score between 940 and 1590 (composite ACT score between 20 and 35) and a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, undergraduate, or graduate student who plans to pursue a degree in science or engineering. Demonstration of traits of a high moral character and leadership qualities required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Donald A. King HDSA Summer Research Fellowship

Applicant must be a matriculated undergraduate life sciences, pre-medical, or first-year medical student who is currently attending an accredited institution in the United States.

Law School Scholarship Essay Contest

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15 (personal blog or website); March 31 (law school blog or website)

Applicant must be currently enrolled in an American Bar Association-approved institution, the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School, or any law school provisionally approved. Essay on one of the following topics (more information on each topic provided on sponsor's site): cerebral palsy or car accidents. Applicant may post their essay on a law school blog or website or on their own personal blog or website. Once the essay is posted, the applicant must notify the sponsor and provide the URL where the essay is posted.

 

Jimmy Allen Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time nontraditional student at Shawnee State University in good academic standing who is mobility impaired (requiring use of wheelchair).

 

Big Sandy SuperStore Vanhoose Stewart Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be an employee, spouse, and/or dependent of a current employee of Big Sandy Furniture or one of its affiliates who has completed one year and/or 1,000 hours of employment.
