Wildlife Research Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum GRE score of 1100 and 3.0 GPA in the last two years of undergraduate or graduate work.

 

Janice and Paul Keesler Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a New York State resident who has been accepted into an accredited institution of higher learning and is, or will be, working toward obtaining a degree in some facet of wildlife management.

 

Emily M. Hewitt Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a student or graduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited California post-secondary educational institution whose educational goals coincide with Emily Hewitt's interest in communicating and interpreting nature's wonder. Applicants pursuing degrees in environmental protection, forestry, wildlife and fisheries, biology, parks and recreation, park management, environmental law and public policy, environmental art, and California history are encouraged to apply.

 

Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a resident of the United States or Canada between the ages of 16 and 25 who will be or is currently attending a college or university. Essay, resume, and transcript required; DAT Score report and one minute video clip recommended.

 

Garden Club of Ohio Inc. Scholarships

Award: -, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be residents of Ohio and must be enrolled in a postsecondary degree program related to environmental science, plant science, horticulture, floriculture, city planning or wildlife. They must be rising undergraduate juniors, undergraduate seniors or graduate students and have a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Minnesota Division Izaak Walton League Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and Minnesota residents. They must be in the second year or higher of a college degree program in environmental science, environmental education, conservation, environmental law, wildlife management or a related subject. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.

 

Dennis Raveling Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be pursuing an advanced degree in wildlife, zoology, botany, ecology or other biological science that are related to wetlands ecology. Selection is based on dedication to wetland preservation, high academic achievement and the merit of the project submitted.

 

Women's Wildlife Management/Conservation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicants must be a female college junior or senior, have a 3.0 or higher GPA and be majoring in wildlife management/conservation. Selection is based on extracurricular activities, community service, work experience, a required essay and the letter of reference.
