Applicant must be a full-time student. Selection is based upon academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and financial need.

F. Louis Wolff Scholarship

Beers Construction Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a minority student and demonstrate financial need.

 

Continuing Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a student currently enrolled full-time with a minimum cumulative 3.4 GPA from the last recorded semester. Six to 10 slides in a slide sheet, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and attendance at a one-hour meeting on the application due date (where applicant will be given a timed essay to complete) are all required to be submitted. Two scholarships are awarded per class level.

 

C.G. Chase Construction Minority Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a minority student from Dade County, Fla., and want to return to Dade County to work. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

James A. Cummings Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be from Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach County, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and demonstrate written communication ability. Preference is given to Broward County residents; second preference is given to Dade County residents.

 

Holbrook Construction Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Award must be used for computer purchase. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Barbara A. and John M. Cirino Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

 

Boeing Defense and Space Group Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Selection is based upon academic achievement. Award may include summer internship at Boeing.

 

Fine Arts Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 1 (Priority)

Audition or portfolio review required.

 

John B. Boy/U.S. Sugar Corp. Scholarship for Agricultural and Biological Engineering

Award: $2,300, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon academic achievement and financial need.

 

Florida Business Roundtable Scholarship

Selection is based upon academic performance and financial need.

 

Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be from Charlotte, Collier, Hindry, or Lee County.

 

Academic Achievement Award for Transfers

Applicant must be transferring from a community college with at least 35 credits. Selection is based upon academic accomplishment. Essay required.

 

Engineering Research Center for Particle Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be doing research related to particle science/technology. Graduate job opportunities also available.

 

Ancient Studies Scholarship

Applicant must be participating in an archaeological dig and study abroad.

American Nuclear Society Nuclear Engineering Scholarship

Applicant must be a member of the American Nuclear Society.

 

National Academy for Nuclear Training Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based upon academic record and potential for a career in the nuclear utility industry.
