Resident Transfer Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and an associate degree, or the equivalent in semester hours, from a Utah two-year college. Applicant must be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, activity involvement, and achievements. Application, a one-page essay, and a recommendation are required to be submitted.

Application, recommendation, and one-page essay that illustrates applicant's geographical, ethnic and/or cultural background, and how it will contribute to an educationally diverse experience for students at the University are required to be submitted.

Application, recommendation, and online essay in which applicant illustrates their geographic, ethnic and/or cultural background, and how it will contribute to an educationally diverse experience for students at the University, are required to be submitted.

 

Resident College and Departmental Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Utah and a high school senior who has declared a major. Applicant must apply directly to the department of their major.

 

Founder's Day Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: January 18

Applicant must be a current student at the University of Utah with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and who is able to attend the Founders Day Dinner. Official University transcript and a one-page letter of recommendation, and a two-page essay explaining the challenges or difficult circumstances that you have overcome, and the inspirations or life experiences that have had an impact on you are all required to be submitted.

 

Alumni Association Achievement Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 18

Applicant must be a Founders Day Scholarship applicant, which requires current student status at the University and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Official transcript, a one-page recommendation, and a two-page essay explaining the challenges or difficult circumstances you have overcome, and the inspirations or life experiences that have had an impact on you, are all required to be submitted.

 

Beehive Honor Society Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate student at the University. Selection will be based upon the applicant's academic excellence, leadership, and service to the school and community.

 

Beehive Honor Legacy Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a Beehive Honor Society's member, member's child, or grandchild. Selection is based upon academic excellence, leadership, and service to the University and community. Official transcript, current resume, a one-page letter of recommendation, and a one-page typed essay are required to be submitted.

 

Emeritus Scholarship

Applicant must be a former University student who has been away from school for an extended period of time due to circumstances that did not allow completion of a degree. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, a demonstrated desire to earn a university degree, and have need for financial assistance in order to pursue further education. Application form, transcript, a brief introduction of yourself, and two letters of recommendation are required.

 

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be the child or grandchild of an University alumni who is a member of the Alumni Association. Academic performance, other scholarships, and community service may be considered in the selection process. Transcript, essay, and letter of recommendation are required to be submitted.

 

Southern Utah Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a student who graduated from a Southern Utah high school and is currently attending or is planning to attend the University of Utah. Selection is based upon academic excellence, leadership, and service to the community and school. Application, official high school and/or college transcripts, and a two-page essay are required to be submitted.

 

Congregational Partners in Education Match

Applicant must be a full-time student, who is able to receive a scholarship from their congregation, regardless of denomination.

 

Access to Better Learning and Education Grant Program (ABLE)

Applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program at an eligible private Florida college or university for a minimum of 12 credit hours per term, or the equivalent. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. FAFSA is required.

 

First Generation Matching Grant Program

Applicant must be a degree-seeking, Florida resident who is an undergraduate student with substantial need. In order to be eligible, applicant's parents must not have earned baccalaureate degrees. Joyce Trowers Scholarship

Applicant must be a Caribbean-American undergraduate student-continuing or transfer who is majoring in applied mathematics, has a minimum 3.5 GPA and is enrolled as a full-time student. Applicant must be a child older than 16 and less than 26 years of age who is the natural or adopted child of a Michigan veteran. The veteran must have been a legal resident of Michigan immediately before entering the military service and must not later have resided outside of Michigan for more than two years; or the veteran must have established legal residency in Michigan after entering the military service.

 

ASCO Numatics Industrial Automation Engineering Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering, instrumentation, systems, electrical, mechanical, or automation discipline at an accredited United States educational institution for the upcoming academic year. At the time of application, applicant must have completed at least their sophomore year in a bachelor's degree program have a minimum 3.2 GPA, and be a United States citizen or legal United States resident. Selection will be based on applicant's potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, electrical, mechanical, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technology.
