Wallace G. MacCauley Memorial Scholarship

Leo Adler Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of Powder Valley High School or any high school located in Baker County or be a Baker County/Powder Valley High School student who has acquired a GED certificate from an educational institution in Baker County, Oregon. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Jesuit B.V.M., Sisters of Christian Charity

Applicant must be a student from a Jesuit, B.V.M., Sisters of Christian Charity high school in the United States and Puerto Rico with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicant must be nominated by their high school principal or their designate.

 

Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 31

Applicants must be 9th-12th grade high school students, college students or graduate school students who are legal U.S. residents. Students may study any major and attend any college in the U.S.

 

Scholarship for Rural America

Award: $1,000, Deadline: Mid-February

Applicant must be a high school senior from a United States farm family whose primary income source (50% or more) is derived from farming. Recipient must enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Applicant cannot be a dependent of a Cargill employee. Selection is based upon financial need, academic achievement, and other accomplishments.

 

Albert E. Wischmeyer Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a resident of western New York State and must plan to attend a New York State college or university. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required.

 

Chapter 4 - Lawrence A. Wacker Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be seeking a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering in a four-year program at an accredited, public or private college or university within the state of Wisconsin. First preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are Chapter 4 members, their spouse, and/or their children or grandchildren. Second preference will be given to scholarship applicants who reside within the following Wisconsin counties: Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha. Third preference will be given to scholarship applicants who reside within the state of Wisconsin. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

 

Chapter One - Detroit Founding Chapter Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology or closely related degree or certificate program. Preference will be given to a member in good standing of their respective SME Student Chapter or SME-Detroit Chapter One - The Founding Chapter. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required; good character and leadership must be demonstrated.

 

E. Wayne Kay Community College Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing or a closely related field with less than 60 college credit hours completed at a two year community college or trade school in the United States or Canada. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

 

SME Director's Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a manufacturing or related degree program in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours and be seeking a career in manufacturing. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate leadership skills in a community, academic, or professional environment. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required.

 

Indiana Sheriff's Association Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be an Indiana resident who is committed to pursuing an education and career in law enforcement at an Indiana college or university as a full-time student. Applicant must be a member or the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter or a member of the Indiana Sheriff's Association. SAT or ACT scores are required.

 

Giuliano Mazzetti Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering, technology, or a closely related field in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours, and be seeking a career in manufacturing engineering or technology.

 

National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Scholarship

Award: $12,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled in an United States accredited institution of higher education for the upcoming fall academic term and fit into one of the following categories: be an Italian American student who is able to demonstrate outstanding potential and high academic achievements or be from any ethnic background majoring or minoring in Italian language, Italian studies, Italian American studies or a related field, demonstrating outstanding potential and high academic achievements. Selection is based upon academic performance, field of study, career objectives, and the potential, commitment, and abilities. All applications must be submitted online.

 

Robert R. Robinson Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be a junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in a Michigan college or university who is pursuing a degree in public administration and considering a career in local government administration. Recipient will be selected from nominees submitted by a Michigan township board that is a member of good standing in the Michigan Townships Association.

 

Community College Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1 (spring semester); May 1 (fall semester)

Applicant must have in-state residency status and be a current transfer applicant from a Michigan community college.
