REFORMA Scholarship

LIT Scholarship for Excellence

Applicant must be a current student member of LIT (which requires being in the top 35% of class, having a minimum 3.5 GPA in at least 12 semester hours of literature, having a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and being in the fifth college semester) who is sponsored by an active chapter. Selection is based upon the quality of the applicant's scholarly or creative writing as evaluated by a committee. Application and writing sample are required.

Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Preparedness Fellowship in Honour of Stuart Nesbitt White

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Preference given to applicants who hold a master's degree and would normally be pursuing doctoral studies. Applicants majoring in business administration or health administration must have completed master's degree.

 

Graduate Student Fellowship

Applicant must be a graduate student researching marine sciences at the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce, Florida for a period of 12 weeks. Research must be conducted in association with a member of the Smithsonian professional research staff.

 

Justinian Society Scholarship

Applicant must be a student of Italian descent who is attending a college in Illinois with at least one semester of law school completed. Completed application, brief written statement from applicant, faculty letter of recommendation, copy of most recently filed federal income tax return, and attendance at the Justinian Scholarship and Installation Dinner required.

 

Direct Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15; May 15

Applicant must be a junior or senior in a baccalaureate program or a graduate student at an accredited university who is pursuing a degree in forensic science, forensic chemistry, or a physical/natural science. Applicants from FEPAC accredited programs will be given additional consideration. Selection is based upon overall scholastic record including forensic science coursework, motivation or commitment to a forensic science career, personal statement and faculty recommendation. Awards will not be granted to current forensic science laboratory employees pursuing graduate degrees.
