They must be in the top 10 percent of their class or have a combined critical reading and math SAT score of 1080 or higher or have a combined English and math ACT score of 43 or higher. Applicants must be full-time undergraduates who are majoring in nursing or physician assisting at an Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP) member school. Applicants must be nursing students at schools that have registered in the scholarship program by linking to the CampusRN website. An essay is required. Finalists may be asked to submit awards, letters of recommendation and other materials upon selection. One award is given for each of the six geographical regions.

Applicants must be Colorado residents who are planning to practice nursing in Colorado. They must be juniors or seniors working towards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurses (RNs) pursuing the bachelor's degree or higher in a school of nursing; practicing RNs pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing or second- or third-year Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students. Undergraduates must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher, and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Selection is based on GPA, financial need, recommendations, community involvement and commitment to professional practice in Colorado.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens. They must be full-time students enrolled in a medical school or nursing degree program at an accredited Wisconsin college or university. Rising undergraduate freshmen, undergraduate medical students and nursing students enrolled in a less than two-year program are ineligible. Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents and to applicants who are planning to practice in Wisconsin. Selection is based on academic merit, personal qualities, recommendations and financial need.

They must meet the Navy's physical fitness requirements. Recipients of this award will be required to fulfill an active duty service obligation of up to five years as an officer in the Navy Nurse Corps. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens accepted by or enrolled in a nursing program at an accredited nursing school within the U.S. leading to an associate, baccalaureate or graduate nursing degree or diploma. Applicants must have no federal judgement liens and not be delinquent on a federal debt or have current service commitments. They must begin their nursing program no later than September 30. Selection is based on financial need, academic success, essay answers, resume and letters of recommendation. They must be full-time students who are enrolled in a registered nurse (RN) degree program. They must sign an agreement to work for a Cherokee Nation Health Facility for two years after graduation. They must have volunteered with a Red Cross unit at least once within the past five years and have completed at least one academic year of college at the time of application. Applicants must be full-time graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, biochemistry, genetics, nursing, pharmacy or other related areas; have a dissertation research project; have a qualified mentor who can supervise the project and have access to resources to conduct the project. The project must be in the U.S. and its territories. The award is based on the quality of the dissertation project, relevance to epilepsy, the applicant's qualifications, the mentor's qualifications and the quality of the proposed environment.

Applicants who are registered nurses must have a current license to practice as an RN, have more than a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing degree program in a school of nursing recognized by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Applicants who are not registered nurses must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing degree program in a school of nursing recognized by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Non-RN applicants must be in the nursing component of the program and must have an interest in and commitment to oncology nursing. At least one Bachelor Scholarship is available to a non-RN applicant living in Ohio and West Virginia. There is a $5 application fee.

They must be in the U.S. Army, planning to enter the U.S. Army, or be the parent, spouse or child of a U.S. Army officer. They cannot already be receiving funding from any source that is associated with the U.S. Army. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be California residents pursuing a degree in healthcare/nursing. Students are required to submit an essay on the designated topic found on the website. After applicants are narrowed down, the essays will then need to be shared on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other social networking page and receive votes. Contest runs quarterly.

Applicants must be at least 13 years of age, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. citizen. Students must be studying or planning on studying a medicine related field. Students must be at least a high school senior. AvaCare Medical offers an annual scholarship for an inspiring act of kindness. Selection is based on judge scores as well as public votes. Submission may be in the form of a blog post, an image or a short video clip. Finalists are selected based on content, creativity and quality of work.
