Charleston Rotary Club Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a resident of the Charleston area who is studying business or a related field. Preference given to students having prior business or entrepreneurial experience. Minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 20 required.

 

John L. and Margaret S. Fraley Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: January 16

Applicant must have a minimum 3.85 GPA and demonstrate leadership and community and school service. Applicant must be a North Carolina resident and major within the College of Business Administration. Interview required of finalists.

 

Rexham Corporation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 16

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, membership in the Business Honors Program, a declared major in the Belk Coll of Business Administration, and assessed family financial need.

 

John Pickens Derham Cato Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 16

Applicant must reside in a community served by the Cato Corporation and have membership in the Business Honors Program, a declared major in the Belk Coll of Business Administration, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and assessed family financial need.

 

Ralph S. Robinson Family Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Gaston County, N.C., and have membership in the Business Honors Program, a declared major in the Belk Coll of Business Administration, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and assessed family financial need.

 

Rector's Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: March 14

Applicant must be a bilingual Canadian citizen or permanent resident, with a minimum 92 admission average including six OACs or equivalent, and must meet extracurricular or community excellence criteria. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

ARS Graduate Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be of Armenian ancestry. Selection is based upon scholastic qualifications, financial need, and involvement in the Armenian community.

 

Brian Hendley Entrance Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1 (Priority)

Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Dean's Community Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado and a minimum 3.6 GPA on a minimum of 45 hours of community college courses.

 

Ford Motor Company Scholarship

Applicant must be a domestic or international student from an under-represented background and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must have a minimum 500 GMAT score.

 

M.Bus.Admin. Outstanding Scholar Award

Applicant must have a minimum 500 GMAT and demonstrate financial need. International applicants must have a minimum TOEFL score of 575. Applicants should demonstrate a motivation and commitment to business.

 

Student Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited, four-year college or university, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be seeking a managerial career in the private club industry, and submit essay, transcript, and recommendations.

 

Frederick and Marguerite Hulme Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be entering the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Management in the joint LL.B./M.Bus.Admin. program. Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need. Recipient must be enrolled full time during tenure of award.

 

Hal Wolf Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have a 3.3 or higher GPA and have attended Business Week at CWU. Selection is based upon academic and leadership ability.

 

Danton Business/Economics Scholarship

Applicant must have been admitted to the university by March 1 and be a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who is transferring with an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree and majoring in business, economics, or accounting.

 

Rita & Charles Gelman Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a new or continuing student who is enrolled full-time with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

NALE Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 15 (fall); September 15 (spring); March 15 (summer)

Applicant must be at least one-quarter Native American and be an enrolled member of a U. S. tribe that is federally recognized, or terminated, with high GPA and test scores, and be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

 

Robert E. Bass Scholarship

Applicant must be an adult learner pursuing a medical, nursing, or business degree. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required. Award amount is determined by committee.

 

David C. Lizarraga Fellowship

Applicant must be a first-generation college student who is in need of financial support and is a permanent resident of one of the specified communities in California, Illinois, New York, or Texas. Applicant must be enrolled in a full time graduate program and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. A pool of applicants will be invited to an interview, where the recipient of the fellowship will be selected based upon leadership, professional/extracurricular achievement, commitment to development of communities, and financial need.

 

McKnight Doctoral Fellowships

Award: $17,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be an African-American or Hispanic student who holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Awarded to applicants who intend to seek a Ph.D. degree in the disciplines of arts and sciences, mathematics, business, or engineering.

 

Economic Club Business Study Abroad Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must have been a resident of Kent, Allegan, Ottawa, or Muskegon, Mich., counties for at least three years, or be a resident student at a public college in the West Michigan, area for at least two years. Recipient must study abroad through any accredited college/university specified, with major in accounting, business administration, economics, managerial science, and mathmatics, witha minimum 3.0 GPA. selection basis includes financial need.

 

Dean's Scholarship for Undergraduate Business Students

Coulter Foundation Scholarship in Entrepreneurial Studies and Business

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 10

Applicant can be either domestic or an international student, international student(s) must have a minimum 575 TOEFL score, breadth of vision in planning educational and career goals, and evidence of civic and social responsibility. Special consideration to student(s) enrolled in entrepreneurial courses.

 

Dean's Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship

U.S. West Information Systems Scholarship

Applicant must be an undergraduate with junior or senior class standing, including those transferring from the community college system. Applicant must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours each semester.

 

Abbott Fellows Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate leadership potential in management practice in hospital administration, and financial need.

 

Excellence in Management Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and excellence or potential in chosen major.

 

M.S. Marketing Sustaining Student Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled in a M.S. Marketing program; graduate students must have a minimum of 15 hours of course work completed. Selection is based upon a minimum 3.25 GPA, academic performance and financial need.

 

M.S. in Marketing Fellows Scholarship
