Joseph Norton Sheteron Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 12

Applicant must be a graduating senior at Ross Beatty High School who participates in either baseball or softball, and who demonstrates a passion for the game. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at a two- or four-year institution.

 

Babb Family Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top fifth of their graduating class. Applicant must have participated in community/volunteer service with involvement in extracurricular activities.

 

Business & Professional Women's Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a female Osceola County high school graduate who ranks in the top fifth of her graduating class. Applicant must participated in community/volunteer service and have involvement in extracurricular activities. Interview may be required.

 

Amy Hinkley Gregory Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Evart High School who excels in the visual arts field. Interview may be required.

 

Industrial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top fifth of their graduating class. Applicant must have participated in community/volunteer service with involvement in extracurricular activities. Interview may be required.

 

Speaker Rick Johnson Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school or a graduating senior who resides in Osceola County. Participation in extracurricular and community activities and transcript are required.

 

S.J. Martin Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduate of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must participate in community and volunteer service. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in education, students entering their sophomore or junior year in college, and students who show financial need. Interview may be required.

 

James F. McLachlan Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Evart High School who plans to attend an accredited two- or four-year trade school, college or university pursuing advanced trade or industrial skill. Participation in school and/or community volunteer service and transcript are required; interviews may be required.

 

Godfrey T. Norman Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduate of Reed City High School who intends to pursue a degree in pre-medical, pre-dental, or nursing. Minimum 3.5 GPA required; interview may be required.

 

John and Mable Outen Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top fifth of their graduating class. Applicant must have participated in community/volunteer service with involvement in extracurricular activities. Interview may be required.

 

FSU Scholarship

Applicant must be starting their first full year at Ferris State University. Minimum 2.0 GPA is required.

 

Osceola Foundation Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of either an Osceola County high school or a home-schooled student who participates in school and/or community services. Transcript is required; interviews may be required.

 

Dave Porteous Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be an Osceola County high school graduate who plans to attend Michigan State University. Applicant must participate in community/volunteer service and demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities.

 

RC McQuilkin Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a current high school senior who attends the RC McQuilkin Leadership Weekend in December. Separate application and essays are required.

 

Board Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman who has a minimum 3.75 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 26).

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $4,500, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman with a minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24).

 

Dean Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman with a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000 (composite ACT score of 21).

 

Servant Leader Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.24 and combined SAT Reasoning score between 900 and 999 (composite ACT score between 19 and 20).

 

Valedictorian Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be the valedictorian of their high school graduating class (of at least five people).

 

Salutatorian Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be the salutatorian from a high school of at least five people.

 

Church Matching Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be a full-time student at the university who is sponsored by a church or para-organization. The university will match up to $1,000 per academic year.

 

National Merit Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has designated Macalester College as their first-choice school.

 

Catharine Lealtad Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicant must be an African-American, Latino, or Native American student with a strong academic record.

 

DeWitt Wallace Distinguished Scholarship

Award: $17,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist or Commended student.

 

Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be an incoming student who was the valedictorian or salutatorian of their high school class. Confirmation letter is required.

 

Academic Scholarship for Freshman

Award: $7,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be an incoming student; automatically considered for the award. Awarding begins October 1 and continues until all funds have been exhausted.

 

Presidential/Chancellor Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school student who is academically high achieving and who has demonstrated leadership skills. Selection is competitive.

 

180 Medical Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must have spina bifida, a spinal cord injury, or transverse myelitis.

 

President's Scholarship

Award: $12,500, Deadline: May 31; November 30

Applicant must have participated actively in enrichment programs (summer camps, youth groups, travel abroad, etc.). Demonstration of commitment to leadership and community service is required.

 

Faculty Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: May 31; November 30

Applicant must be able to demonstrate a commitment to leadership and community service.
