Applicant must be a New York/Tri-State or Tulsa area graduating high school student who plans to enroll full-time at a two- or four-year accredited institution during the upcoming academic year. Minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and demonstration of commitment to community service required.

Applicant must plan to graduate from a United States high school in the spring and intend to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited four-year college beginning next fall. The following are required: minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA; standardized test scores in the top 15%: SAT combined critical reading and math score of 1200 (must test by October 11) or ACT composite score of 26 (must test by September 13); and financial need.

Applicant must submit an essay of no more than 1,000 words in answer to the following question: "What are your dreams for your future? When you look back on your life in thirty years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful?" Applicant must be a motivated student looking to further their education. Major or courses in engineering are not required.

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who has participated in a Junior Achievement program during their high school experience. Selection based upon unweighted GPA, extra curricular involvement and activities, individual recommendations (teacher, principal, and volunteer), and thoughtful response to the essay questions.
