Applicant must plan to graduate from a United States high school in the spring and intend to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited four-year college beginning next fall. The following are required: minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA; standardized test scores in the top 15%: SAT combined critical reading and math score of 1200 (must test by October 11) or ACT composite score of 26 (must test by September 13); and financial need.
The scholarship is renewable each year. At the end of each academic year, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation will review grades, financial eligibility, conduct, progress toward degree, and cooperation with the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation and determine, at the Foundation's sole discretion, whether to renew the scholarship for the next academic year. The Foundation may also, at its sole discretion, revoke a scholarship during the academic year based on a similar review.
