Scholarships in High School Senior

Live Life Smart Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 13 years of age. Entrant must be a current high school student and an authorized as a user of StudentEdge. When you register for or log in to a StudentEdge account, you will receive one entry into the contest. Only the first time entry in a 24-hour period will count as a valid entry. At the end of each month during the promotion period, there will be a random drawing from all the entries received that month to determine the winner of the $1,000 prize.

 

My College Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: June 30; December 31

Applicant must be a student over the age of 16 who is planning on attending a previously unattended college or university. Scholarships are awarded through random drawing. Award must be used within five years of winning.

 

Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant (MESG)

Award: $2,500, Deadline: September 15

Applicant must be an entering freshman that has been a Mississippi resident for at least one year. Applicant must have a 3.5 GPA and an ACT score of at least 29.

Applicant must be entering directly from high school as a full-time student with a minimum 4.0 GPA.

 

Aquinas, Sister Mary Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be entering directly from high school, enrolled in a full course load, with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

Bennett, Evelyn Memorial Fund Scholarship

Campbell, Reverand A.B. (Brooks) Memorial Scholarship

Cape Breton Surgical Scholarship

Applicant must be entering into the University directly after high school into the Bachelor of Science Nursing program with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is required.

 

Fitzgerald, Art Science Scholarship

Applicant must be entering directly from high school with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Full course load and evidence of leadership are required.

 

ACT Scholarship

Applicant must be a Mississippi student who is enrolling in a college or university for the fall semester immediately after high school graduation. Full time status must be maintained and applicant must give proof of ACT scores.

 

Valedictorian/Salutatorian National Merit Finalist/Semi-Finalist Scholarship

Applicant must be a Mississippi student enrolled in the fall semester immediately following their high school graduation. Full time status must be maintained.

 

Regent's Baccalaureate Scholarship

Award: $10,600, Deadline: February 10 (priority date)

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is a high school senior with a minimum ACT score of 30 and an exceptional high school GPA and rank (preference given to 3.5 GPA and higher).

 

President's Leadership Scholarship

Award: $5,500, Deadline: February 10

Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and and a composite ACT score of 24. Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident, have membership in three school organizations plus civic involvement, complete an essay, and minimum of two letters of recommendation. A personal interview is conducted for finalists.

 

Foundation Scholars Award

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 10 (priority date)

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a high school senior with a minimum 3.25 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 27.

 

Drover Academic Scholarship

Award: $2,900, Deadline: February 10 (priority date)

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is a high school senior with a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 27.

 

University Scholarship

Award: $2,700, Deadline: February 10 (priority date)

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is a high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and a minimum ACT score of 24.

 

Green & Gold Scholarship

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is a high school senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum ACT score between 22 and 23.

 

Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Applicant must be the valedictorian or salutatorian of their high school class. High school transcript is required.

 

President's Scholarship

Applicant must be nominated by the high school they attend in Canada. Awards students of academic distinction who have made contributions to their school and communities, and demonstrate the potential to become leaders in society.

 

Lincoln Alexander Chancellor's Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be nominated by the high school they attended in Canada. This scholarship awards students who are Aboriginal, persons with a disability or members of a racial minority. Applicant must have academic distinction, contributed to their school and community, and demonstrate the potential to become a leader in society.

 

Champlain Scholarship

Applicant must be a Canadian student entering their first year of study. Selection is based upon display of academic and extra-curricular achievement.

 

Board of Governors' Leadership Scholarship

Special Admissions Scholarship

Student Leaders Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum admission average of 80%, show leadership through extracurricular activities, volunteer, and demonstrate a commitment to the the benefit of others. Award includes automatic acceptance into St. Thomas University's Leadership Institute.

 

Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is a high-school senior seeking admission into a full-time undergraduate program. Minimum 3.0 high-school GPA required.

 

Louise McKinney Scholarship
