Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - One Family Scholarship Program

The program assists heads of households in achieving their academic goals. Recipients of this scholarship receive an integrated network of services through the non-profit organization, One Family, Inc., whose mission is to serve residents of the Commonwealth who are low-income and homeless, or have experienced homelessness within the prior year. Applicants must be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts for at least one year; be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen eligible under Title IV; have applied for financial aid; be enrolled full- or part-time; qualify as a head-of-household with children under age 18; and be at risk of homelessness, based on federal poverty standards, or have experienced homelessness within the previous 12 months.

 

NFMC Hinda Honigman Award for the Blind

Award: $800, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25, be an instrumentalist or vocalist and submit an affidavit from an ophthalmologist stating that they are blind. Applicants must also be affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs.

American Legion Auxiliary, Department of California $500 Scholarships

One of applicant's parents must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces during an eligible period. Applicants must be California resident high school seniors or graduates who have had to postpone school due to health or financial reasons and plan to attend a California college or university. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need.

 

Continuing/Re-entry Students Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 16

One of the applicant's parents must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces during an eligible period. Applicants must be California residents planning to attend a California college or university and must be continuing or re-entry college students.

Applicants must be residents of California, enrolled or planning to enroll in a nursing program and be the wife, husband, widow, widower or child of a veteran or be veterans themselves.

AGC Undergraduate Scholarships

Applicants must be a second-year student at a two year school planning to transfer to a four-year program, or a rising college sophomore or junior in a four-year program or rising senior in a five-year program enrolled in or planning to enroll in ABET- or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering programs pursuing a B.S. degree in construction or construction-related engineering.

 

AGC Graduate Scholarships

Applicants must be college seniors enrolled in an undergraduate construction or civil engineering degree program or college graduates with a degree in construction or civil engineering. Iowa Vocational-Technical Tuition Grants

Award: $1,200, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a career education or option course for 3 credit hours consisting of at least 15 weeks duration at an Iowa area community college and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must prove financial need.
