Vincent L. Hawkinson Scholarship for Peace and Justice

Applicants must advocate peace, reside in or attend school in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin and attend an interview in Minneapolis and the fall awards ceremony.

 

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award

Applicants must be graduating college seniors, and must intend to perform one year of public service in the U.S. or abroad. The service may be individual work or through charitable, religious, educational, governmental or other public service organizations.

Midwest Student Exchange Program

Applicants must currently live in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota or Wisconsin and wish to attend a participating school in one of these states outside their own. Other eligibility requirements vary depending on the state and school. Awards are tuition reduction for out-of-state schools in the participating region.

 

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: January 27 (fall); March 31 (winter); June 9 (spring)

Student athletes must show achievement in their last year of varsity-level intercollegiate athletics at an NCAA school. Applicants must be nominated by the faculty athletic representative or athletic director and be enrolling as a full- or part-time graduate student. Students must also have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

 

Berklee College of Music - MASSGrant

Applicants must produce peanuts or come from peanut-producing families. They must also be current FFA members under the age of 23 working towards degrees in agriculture or agribusiness at U.S. institutions. Applicants must be residents of Alabama, Florida or Georgia. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They may be pursuing a four-year degree in any major in the state of Wisconsin, Minnesota or Missouri. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board.

Students must be single dependents of a UDT-SEAL Association member who has served in or is serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and the Naval Special Warfare community. Aurand Harris Memorial Playwriting Award

Applicants must live in New England and/or be members of NETC and submit a full-length play written for a young audience. The play must not have been previously published, previously produced by a professional company or submitted to the Harris competition. Students may only submit one play. There is a $20 processing fee.
