Vermont State Grange Educational Aid Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont attending an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement and financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Vermont Dental Hygiene Scholarship

Award: $8,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will enroll in a dental hygiene program at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement and financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Safe Water Scholarships

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be enrolled in a secondary education program related to the water industry, including community college, technical school, four-year undergraduate programs, and masters and doctoral programs. Applicants must be either an Illinois resident or enrolled in an Illinois secondary education program. This includes, but is not limited to such fields of study as water utility operations and management, civil or environmental engineering, environmental science and policy, chemistry, biology, or water resource management. Selection based on merit/academic performance, leadership/extracurricular activities, recommendation letters, personal statement outlining qualifications for the award, and essay on how applicant envisions contributing to the water industry in the future. Applicants with prior experience in the water industry are preferred.

 

Texas Transportation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must have been enrolled in a school in Texas during some phase of education (elementary, secondary, or high school). Selection is based upon scholastic ability, potential, professional interest, character, and financial need.

 

A.O. Putnam Memorial Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be an active member of IIE, enrolled full-time, and have a minimum 3.4 GPA. Preference given to applicants who have demonstrated interest in management consulting.

 

Robert E. Altenhofen Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must fit one of the two following categories: have a bachelor's degree in welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or an engineering program with an emphasis on welding; or be a graduate student pursuing master's or doctorate in engineering or management.

 

Roxane Leopold Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who has been or is being served by King Street Center and will attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Vermont State Grange Harry H. Gibbs Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who's parent(s) are a member in good standing of a Vermont subordinate grange and plan to attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement and financial need must be demonstrated.

 

United States Naval Academy Class of 1963 Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be the wife, son, or daughter of a deceased member of the U.S. Naval Academy class of 1963.

 

Methodist Ministerial Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of an active United Methodist minister or missionary.

 

James M. and Aune P. Nelson Minority Student Grant

Applicant must be African-American, Native American, or Hispanic, a graduate of an Alton school, have a minimum 2.0 high school GPA or 2.5 college GPA, be enrolled full time, and be pursuing a degree program. Selection based on financial need.

 

Kansas Funeral Director Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be registered with the State Board of Mortuary Arts as a student and plan to practice in Kansas.

 

Wilma Hoyal-Maxine Chilton Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Arizona for at least one year. Preference is given to honorably discharged veterans or immediate family members. Selection is based upon scholarship, character, financial need, and leadership. Resume listing background, activities, and goals, three letters of reference, and transcripts are required to be submitted.

 

Milton McKevett Teague Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or enrolled in an accredited college/business/trade school. Applicant must have been a Ventura County resident for a minimum of three preceding years and who shows school community involvement.

 

Arkansas Congress of Parents and Teachers Scholarship

Applicant must be a PTA member of any school.

 

Barry K. Wendt Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: June 2

Applicant must be a United States citizen attending a national college or university who exhibits a passion for a career in the aggregate industry. Letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor, a 300-500 word statement or essay explaining students' plans for a career in the aggregate industry, work experience or an internship (summer employee) are required.

 

Gordy and Gwen EMS Scholarship

Applicant must be an active member, or the spouse or child or an active member, of a Vermont-licensed ambulance or first response squad in Addison or Chittenden County. Academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement/service must be demonstrated.

 

United Parcel Services Scholarship for Minority Students

Applicant must be a member of an minority group, an active IIE member, be enrolled full time, and have a minimum 3.4 GPA. Selection is based upon scholastic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the profession, and financial need.

 

Methodist Clergy Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of a Methodist minister and submit identification and request for consideration in writing. Applicant's Resident Bishop must provide written verification of parent's active status and church affiliation by February 15.

 

Olin Fellowship

Applicant must be seeking to improve their knowledge or skills in advanced fields while looking for solutions to current problems in Atlantic salmon biology, management, and conservation.

 

Sagebrush Circuit Educational Scholarship
