Applicant must be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 17 and 25 who is admitted to or currently enrolled in an accredited four-year Historically Black College or University as a full-time student. Minimum 3.0 GPA, combined SAT Reasoning score of 1500 (composite ACT score of 23), and 500-word essay on the following topic required: The importance of personal integrity for leaders.

 

Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship

Applicant must be a legal U.S. citizen between the ages of 21 and 31. A 10-page poem document is required.

 

Maria Elena Yuchengco Memorial Journalism Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 21

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident from the San Francisco Bay Area who is an incoming freshman or current, full-time undergraduate from the San Francisco Bay Area at an accredited four-year college or university. Applicant must be at least 50% Filipino. Minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, major in journalism, and additional writing sample required.

 

Scholarship Award Supporting Criminal Law Students

Applicant must have been accepted into a Texas, American Bar Accredited Law School who is seeking employment or currently employed by a Federal or State Public Defender's Office. Minimum 3.5 GPA and completion of a 500-word response on why the applicant wishes to pursue employment with a Federal or State Public Defender Office is required.

 

MassMutual Scholars Program

Applicant must be a legal U.S. Citizen who will be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year at an accredited college/university. Minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Interest in pursuing a career in insurance and financial services industry preferred.
