Award: $700, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a student with a disability(ies) under IDEA and Chapter 101 who is going on to post-secondary education. Applicant must have exceptional achievement in one or more of the following: academics, extra-curricular, leadership, and/or volunteerism.

 

Josephine Hooker Shain Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a resident of Georgetown, ME, who has applied to or has been accepted at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

 

Governor Longley Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a Maine native (born in Maine or graduate from a Maine high school) who is first-year, full-time student at Eastern Maine Community College as of this upcoming fall. Completed FAFSA and financial need are required.

 

Hope Milliken McNally Scholarship

Award: $800, Deadline: June 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be an Ellsworth High School graduate who has been accepted into a degree, diploma, or certificate program at Eastern Maine Community College.

 

Charles E. Roberts Jr. Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wallowa County high school who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Casey Diemert Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Roseburg High School who has not previously enrolled in college and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon or North Dakota. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduate of Roseburg High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 GPA required. Preference to those attending Umpqua Community College, or a college or university in Oregon.

Applicant must be a dependent of an employee of Calbag Metals who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon who will major in engineering at Portland State or Oregon State University. FAFSA and minimum 2.75 GPA required. Preference to nontraditional students.

 

Gayle and Harvey Rubin Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled in full-time graduate study for a degree in law or medicine at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

George Ruhberg/Principal Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Alliance High School at Madison Night Campus or Marshall Night Campus.

 

Montello-Sawyer Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a Maine student who plans to attend an accredited, post-secondary educational program. Applicant must be a member of the Appraisal Institute or have a parent or legal guardian who is a member of the Maine Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

 

Nursing Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Maine resident who has been accepted in an accredited B.S.N. or M.S.N. nursing program.

 

Mitchell Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of Maine who plans to attend a two- or four-year degree program at an accredited college or university and must be a graduating senior from a public high school in Maine. Selection is based on academic promise, community impact and financial need.

 

Churchill Family Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 26

Applicant must be a high school student from Maine who is planning to begin a four-year degree program in vocal music education or performance for the upcoming fall semester.

 

Central Maine Power Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from a Maine high school who is a dependent of a Central Maine Power employee or retiree. Applicant must be enrolling in a post-secondary educational program.

 

Friends of Bill Rutherford Education Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is the child of an individual serving in the Oregon State Legislature or holding a statewide elected office and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Owen and Edna Sabin Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a North Clackamas School District public high school who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required. Preference to Sabin-Schellenberg Center students.

 

Salem Electric Cooperative Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is receiving, or who's parents are receiving, service from Salem Electric at their primary residence. Salem Electric staff, board members, and immediate family are not eligible.

 

Salem Foundation Ansel & Marie Solie Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be an Oregon resident who is visually impaired and is enrolling full-time in undergraduate studies at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Portland Post Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college sophomore or above at a public college or university in an aeronautical, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering program. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.
