Applicant must be a female high school senior who has been accepted into a full-time course of study at an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning and has played golf regularly for two years but not on a competitive collegiate golf team. Applicant must be a dependent of a retired, deceased or current active duty member of any branch of the military, hold a valid military ID card, and reside within a 150 mile radius of Hanscom Air Force Base or be a dependent of a sponsor stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base. Applicant must be a survivor of a peace officer killed in the line of duty (spouse, child, stepchild, adopted child) and enrolled on the California Peace Officers' Memorial Monument. Applicant must be enrolled in the fall semester of the current year, carry a minimum of six units per quarter or eight units per semester, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and provide sealed copies of their most recent transcript.
