Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Lee County, FL high school who will pursue a degree in art or nursing. Financial need and minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Wisconsin Dells Art Association Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue a career in an art-related field.

Beth Helrigel Wester Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Thornapple Kellogg high school who will pursue a major or minor in art or music. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

KLL Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 10

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is attending a two- or four-year college or university with an interest in education, arts, environment, math, or science. Applicant must have lost the life of at least one parent to cancer before the age of 22. Financial need and involvement in the community, church, school, or other non-curricular activity are required.

 

The Janet Gates Peckham Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1 (College Applicants); May 1 (High School Seniors)

Applicant must be a current or past resident of Carlisle, MA or Concord, MA pursuing undergraduate studies.

 

East Village Fine Art Contest

Award: $300, Deadline: May 2

Applicant must be U.S. high school student with an interest in art. Applicant is required to create a piece of art that promotes volunteerism and complete at least five hours of community service.

 

Modern Abstract Decor Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating senior or current college student pursuing a degree in an arts program in the United States. Business plan between 500-1000 words required.

 

Associate's Degree Scholarship in Art and Design

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be pursuing an Art and Design associate's degree. Selection is based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

 

Orange County Centennial Arts Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 16

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Orange County, California and plans to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university majoring in the arts. Leadership skills and community service involvement must be demonstrated. Essay, current transcript, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Bill Gove Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 19

Applicants must be full-time students majoring or minoring in speech. Selection is based on application, essay, recommendation and college transcript.

 

Cavett Robert Scholarship

Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art

Award: $34,000, Deadline: October 26

Applicants must be Ph.D. candidates in an art history department in the U.S. who are working on dissertations about American visual arts history. All the Ph.D. requirements should be met except the dissertation before taking the fellowship. Applicants should submit an application, a proposal, a bibliography, illustrations (optional), a publications list (optional), three reference letters and an official transcript of graduate record. The fellowship lasts for a year.

 

Davidson Fellows Scholarships

Award: $50,000, Deadline: February 12

Applicants must be under the age of 18 and be able to attend the awards reception in Washington, DC. In addition to the monetary award, the institute will pay for travel and lodging expenses. Three nominator forms, three copies of a 15-minute DVD and additional materials are required.

 

AWAF Scholarships

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 22

Applicants must be female residents of California or attend a California school and must be enrolled in one of the following majors: architecture, landscape architecture, urban and/or land planning, interior design or environmental design. Applicants must also have completed a minimum of 18 units in their major by the application due date. The award is based on grades, personal statement, financial need, recommendations and submitted materials.
