Applicant must be majoring in the fine arts (drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics or photography).

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student (junior or senior) at an accredited four-year college or university who would like to study illumination as a career; graduate applicants must be undertaking a lighting-centered project as part of work towards a graduate degree. Statement of Purpose and minimum of three letters of recommendation are required to be submitted.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who plans to enroll in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university in the U.S with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Required to capture before and after effects of a skylight installation in a building, describe completed work in under 400 words, and write statement of college goals.
Award: $6,000, Deadline: April 22
Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students in fine arts, graphic design, illustration, interactive design/motion graphics or photography. They must have a GPA of at least 2.0 and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Minority and economically disadvantaged students will be given special consideration.
