Frank W. Reed Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Florida resident, be enrolled in final year of program, and demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.

 

Continuing Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a student currently enrolled full-time with a minimum cumulative 3.4 GPA from the last recorded semester. Six to 10 slides in a slide sheet, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and attendance at a one-hour meeting on the application due date (where applicant will be given a timed essay to complete) are all required to be submitted. Two scholarships are awarded per class level.

 

C.G. Chase Construction Minority Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a minority student from Dade County, Fla., and want to return to Dade County to work. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

James A. Cummings Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be from Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach County, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and demonstrate written communication ability. Preference is given to Broward County residents; second preference is given to Dade County residents.

 

Holbrook Construction Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Award must be used for computer purchase. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Barbara A. and John M. Cirino Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

 

College of Education Minority Teacher Education Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in College of Education or PROTEACH program. Selection is based upon financial need. Preference is given to children of public school teachers.

 

J.W. Martin and A.M. Martin Phillips Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: November 1 (fall); May 1 (spring)

Applicant must be enrolled full time in PROTEACH program. Those applying for awards of more than $2,000 must demonstrate financial need.

 

Fine Arts Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 1 (Priority)

Audition or portfolio review required.

 

Florida Business Roundtable Scholarship

Selection is based upon academic performance and financial need.

Engineering Research Center for Particle Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be doing research related to particle science/technology. Graduate job opportunities also available.

 

Ancient Studies Scholarship
