Applicants must be women in undergraduate or graduate programs involving transportation-related studies. Selection is based on the applicant's academic record, specific transportation goals and transportation-related activities or job skills.

 

MCCA Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program

Applicants must be diverse students entering their first year of law school full-time at an accredited institution. They must have a GPA of at least 3.2 and demonstrate financial need.

 

Worthy Women's Professional Studies Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: Open

Applicants must be a permanent resident of the U.S., identify as a female, be over the age of 30 and be enrolled in a continuing education professional studies program. A 300 to 500 word essay is required on one of three provided topics.

 

MVP Visuals Design Scholarship

Applicants must be planning to attend or be current undergraduate students at a U.S. university and must major in graphic arts and design or applied arts. Students must create a digital visual design based on the University they are or will be attending.

Knowledge Matters Flax Dental Scholarship Program

Applicants must be a high school senior, college student or prospective college student attending or planning to attend a dental assistant program or dental hygiene program in the U.S. Students must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA. A 400- to 600- word essay is required. Selection is based on presenting a "personal point of view," communication and originality.

 

Jim Dodson Law Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: November 10

Applicants must be a Florida resident currently enrolled in a four-year college part-time or full-time, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have successfully completed 12 credit hours of college courses. A video of up to 90 seconds on the safety-related topic provided is required.

 

Bedwetting Store Design a Mascot Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be incoming or current college students or graduate students who are legal U.S. residents. Students must submit a name, concept and drawing of a mascot for the store. Selection is based on the strength of the concept and drawing.

 

Boyk Law Veteran Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 31

Applicants must have served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard or Reserves or be the child or stepchild of a veteran. Students must also be a U.S. citizen currently attending a U.S. accredited college or university, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have finished at least one semester at the college or university.

 

FortOnFleek Challenge Scholarship

Applicants must be legal residents of the U.S. age 13 or older and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must submit a photo of a fort made from sheets and blankets. Selection is based on the photo submitted.

 

Burial Insurance Scholarship

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and be accepted into a Mortuary or Actuarial Sciences program, not yet started or currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate level, at an accredited institution of learning. Students will need to submit a ID for proof of age, an application, proof of enrollment or acceptance letter and an essay of 500-1,000 words explaining why they are choosing the mortuary services field and what they hope to accomplish in their career.

 

RentHop College and University Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicants must be a graduating high-school senior or an undergraduate pursuing a bachelors or associates degree. Students will need to submit a 1,000 word essay explaining where they see themselves in five years and how those goals apply to RentHop's values and those of the degree program.

 

North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship Competition

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, enrolled full-time as an undergraduate at an eligible educational institution. Funds must be used for qualified educational expenses. Students should be pursuing a degree in logistics or supply chain management. Applicants will need to submit a 400-800 word essay on why they selected a career in logistics/supply chain management. The essay should convey a sincere, personalized tone.

 

Most Promising Logo Design Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: June 30

Applicants must have completed at least one year of coursework in graphic design, product design or branding and have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must submit three original logo designs for the following three industries: automotive, construction and beauty and massage.

 

Wells Fargo Veterans Scholarship Program

Award: $7,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicants must be honorably-discharged veterans, spouses of disabled veterans who have graduated high school (or obtained a GED) and who have served in the U.S. military. Students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational school the following fall. Award will increase with renewal to encourage completion of program.

American Water Scholarship

Applicants must be graduate students working towards a masters or doctoral degree. Students must be planning a career related to the service of the water industry. Selection is based upon the overall strength of the application. This is a one-time award.

 

Thurgood Marshall College Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll as full-time students at one of the 47 TMSF member schools and have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and community service and show financial need. Winners need to maintain a 3.0 GPA for the duration of the scholarship. Applicants must submit a head shot photograph, letters of recommendation, essay, and resume.

 

Eric Marder Scholarship Program of The Immune Deficiency Foundation

Lighthouse Guild Scholarships

Applicants must be legally blind. Visual requirements include a best corrected visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye and/or a visual field of less than 20 degrees in the better eye and be in one of three categories: college-bound high school student, undergraduate college student or graduate student. They must also be U.S. citizens and residents and attend an accredited college or university in the U.S. or its territories. Selection is based on academic and personal achievements.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be Hawaii residents and have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicants must also be enrolled at least half-time at any of the campuses of the University of Hawaii. Selection is based on character and "qualities of good citizenship."

 

Maine State Society Foundation Scholarship

Applicants or their parent must have been born in or have been a legal resident of the state of Maine for at least four years. Applicants must be full-time students who are at least sophomores and must attend an accredited, non-profit college or university located in Maine.
