ASTA Arizona Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada who is a full-time or part-time undergraduate student, enrolled in a travel-and-tourism-related program of study at an accredited two- or four- year college or university in Arizona, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a U.S. 4.0 scale). Applicants enrolled at an accredited two-year college, entering the second year in the fall of the calendar year of application, will have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours by the end of this semester or term. Applicants enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university, entering junior or senior year, will have completed a minimum of 60 or 90 credit hours (respectively) by the end of this semester or term. ASTA Northern California Chapter - Richard Epping Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a permanent resident of California, who is a full-time or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in a travel-and-tourism- or hospitality-related program of study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in California with a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Applicants from two-year schools will be entering second year in the fall of the calendar year of application, and will have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours by the end of this semester or term. Applicants from four-year schools will be entering junior year in the fall of the calendar year of application, and will have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours by the end of this semester or term; or will be entering senior year in the fall of the calendar year of application and will have completed a minimum of 90 credit hours by the end of this semester or term. ASTA David J. Hallissey Memorial Internship

Applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of any country, who is a full-time or part-time undergraduate, or full-time or part-time graduate student, pursuing a marketing degree with an interest in marketing research and also an interest in travel and tourism (preferred but not required); or a travel and tourism degree with an interest in marketing research as it relates to marketing (preferred but not required) at a college or university in the United States with a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Applicant will be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university, and will be entering sophomore year in the fall of the calendar year of application; or enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university, and will be entering junior year in the fall of the calendar year of application; or enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university, and will be entering senior year in the fall of the calendar year of application; or enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university, and entering any year of graduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Please note this internship is for summer or fall and takes place in the Washington, DC area. Applicant should have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel (required); and knowledge of Microsoft Access and SBSS software (preferred but not required). Applicant must be a permanent resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington, who is a full-time or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in a travel-and-tourism- or hospitality-related program of study at a two-, three-, or four-year college or university in the United States or Canada with a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Applicants enrolled at accredited two-year colleges, need to be entering second year in the fall of the calendar year of application, and will have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours by the end of this semester or term. Applicants at accredited three-year schools (Quebec) need to be entering third year in the fall of the calendar year of application, and will have completed 60 credit hours at the end of the semester or term.
